“Nice Willys 1946, 327 motor, Manson 4 speed tranny, overdrive, Dana 44s, spindles available, winch, special starter”
This one has a hefty price tag. Listed as a 1948, this could actually be a modified DJ-3A convertible.

“1946 Willys 2a, looks rough but has good bones on it. Has a 283 corvette motor with 350 heads, edelbrock intake and holly carb, and headers. Sm420 4speed with granny gear barely used maybe 1000 miles on it. Obviously its a project and needs a lot of work. Have lots of extra part, comes with a custom top, a half shell, a pto winch that came with it. The motor turned when it was parked 10 years ago. Its been in the family for 25 years and hate to get rid of it. I have the title and its on an upnto date non op.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
The headlight bezels might hit at this being a CJ-V35U, but it also is a pretty big mish-mash of parts. There must be a good story behind this creation. Unfortunately, there is no description provided.
I suspect this won’t last long.

“1946 Willys Jeep. This Jeep only has 11,488 miles since being restored. It’s in excellent condition and a lot of fun to drive. It has a GM V-6 engine, 3 speed manual transmission and a Ramsey Winch. This Jeep has been kept in a climate controlled garage since 1990. Just had the carburetor rebuilt, a new fuel pump installed, the radiator drained with new antifreeze installed, a complete tune up and new Goodyear Wrangler tires installed on mag wheels with a matching spare. The body is in very good shape with no rust and the paint is a 9 out of 10. All lights work including blinkers and the windshield wipers work. This thing will go anywhere you want to go and get you back! It has a 3 speed manual transmission with hi-low range, 2wheel drive-4 wheel drive selector and PTO engage shifter. I have an aluminum top that was custom made for it that is not pictured but comes with it. It runs very good and shifts smoothly. I have the title in hand. Asking $15,500. Located a few miles south of Tyler in Whitehouse.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $2800.

This looks to be a VEC and a good price.

This is part of an estate sale, though unclear why the person listing this for sale put the jeep in his/her name.
https://reno.craigslist.org/cto/d/washoe-valley-1946-willys-cj2/7447827577.html
“This is a REBUILT 1946 Willys CJ2 per the title. I have clear title.
This is part of an estate sale, and not my own personal vehicle. I was told that it needs a starter, but it does run outside of that. I am only repeating what I’ve been told by the family. The mileage has not been verified. The Jeep is a cream/tan in color. There is not hard top or soft top and it has been sitting outside exposed to the elements with no cover. I cannot make any statements to how the Jeep or its components runs or operates.
It is your responsibility that either you or your mechanic inspect the vehicle to verify the specifics you are seeking out of this vehicle.
It is located at the estate property in Washoe Valley, NV and can be seen by appointment only. Please message Brandy with multiple times you are available to meet. Upon confirmation of the land owner’s availability, then I will confirm with you a meeting time/date.”
It hasn’t been run much in a while (was in storage).

“We are selling our 1947 Willys jeep that needs some loving it’s been in storage for many years . It will make a great jeep for the rubicon are just for the fun of taking it out on week ends. Also I think it has T-90 Borg warn overdrive.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
Not sure how much value is here. The seller indicates there is a 3 Point Hitch, but I see no pics of one nor do I see a rear PTO gearbox (maybe seller meant ‘was’ equipped?). It does have something unusual sticking out the back. I can’t make sense of it.
https://eugene.craigslist.org/grd/d/springfield-1947-willys-overland-cj2a/7446680009.html
“Very Very Rare.
This 1947 Willys Jeep was used Off Road. It’s equipt with a factory 3 point hitch in the rear and a factory hydraulic ram for a front blade.
The flathead L134 engine is full of water. The spark plugs disappeared
do to water on the cylinder head.
No title, never had a heater, rusty floors. It’s still 6 volt. The hydraulic pump is gone.
A new body is available for $2,400.
Adapters for a 4.3 Chevy are less than $500.
These Jeeps are called Agrijeeps.
This jeep with a new body and rebuilt engine would be worth a great deal.
I will consider offers on the
Ag components. Not cheap! The Willys is very straight and deserves a 2nd chance. Not a ding in it.
It has a bunch of rare parts. The entire front sheet metal is really nice.”
Looks like a nice jeep.
https://charleston.craigslist.org/cto/d/summerville-1949-willys-jeep-cj2/7441472386.html
This a totally restored Jeep the original owner invested over $30,000 everything is rebuilt are replaced. You have to see it to believe it. All original drive train with a add on overdrive, that adds 10% to top end. That’s the extra stick you see in the floor with the 4 wheel drive. It has a new body, that wasn’t prepped right and the paint is peeling in some places. I have all the receipts pictures of a the rebuild. New springs tires brake steering box and all steering linkage new steering wheel seats gas tank total drive train rebuilt new wring 12 volt new radiator. New top and doors, electronic ing.
I hate to sell it but I’m getting to old to get in and out of it. I learned to drive on a 1948 on the farm Dad traded the 48 for a 1952 which he kept until 1967. Needless to say this is memory lane for me, when I saw it I had to have it. I hope whoever gets it has the same thrill.
I have recently install the blocks on hood for the wind shield when it is layed down.”
The body is a little rough, but it runs and drives.

Motor was refreshed with a hone job, new rings, new bearings and all new gaskets and seals. New Master cylinder, brake lines and wheel cylinders. New gas tank and lines. New aluminum radiator. Doesn’t smoke, runs and idles good. 4wd and 4 low works. Runs on 12 volts but Needs a alternator or put back to 6 volt. Some lights work but not all. May be interested in trades.”
