Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Has some body rust.
“1952 Willys Jeep with extra parts. Drive it home!
The good:
-Drives great. So great that I used it for a daily driver.
-Engine was rebuilt 10,000 miles ago by a professional shop. Have records to show.
– carburetor freshly rebuilt
– New tie rods and ends
-New points and condenser
-New wires and plugs as of last fall.
-New Battery this spring.
-New Fuel Pump
-Tires have less than 2000 miles on them.
-Has overdrive (4th gear for highway)
– Comes with three soft tops.
– Includes a ton of extra parts from a donor jeep, and a couple new parts that I have not yet gotten around to install.
-New and vintage parts are super easy to come by if you ever need them. cheap too!
The bad:
-Needs new rear brake shoes/ drums installed. (Parts included)
– Has rust
-Engine runs too rich but it’s not the carburetor. Thinking it has to be either the distributor, or the valves need adjustment.

Needs new starter which was purchased, but has a different configuration so we did not install. This is an inherited car and we believe the fender was removed to work on the starter. “1950 CJ3a Let’s get the bad out of the way first. I dont have a title. It does have a vin and the paper work can be done to get the title. Needs a motor. Currently has a F134 overhead valve motor in it but block is broken beyond repair. Still has factory T90/Dana 18 Dana 25 front. Dana 44 rear. I have 2 sets of willys wheels for it And only k-line soft top that is in rough condition but it still covers it. Tow bar mounted on the front. Asking $1100 or best offer. Located in Espanola.”

“Had fun with this thing now time for the next toy. This is a forest green 1952 Jeep Willy’s (cj2a I think). Buick engine swap done by last owner. Such a good weekend driver for the summer with the reliable engine (no choke but runs awesome). Comes with full canvas top. Everything works except windshield wipers (needs to be hooked up is all), and there is no parking brake. Basically everything else is there and functional.
It is in good drivable condition and looks great from 30ft. The body is a bit rough under the paint, but it’s old after all. If your looking for something stock to bring back to original glory this is not it… this is the perfect weekend truck for chores, beers, etc.”
