“New rebuilt 327ci with less than 50 miles.
Rebuilt by Adams Metallizing in Lancaster, CA
Newer axles from a 1975 CJ5
Power steering
Power brakes
Hydraulic clutch
3 speed manual T-15
New in box windshield glass
New in box steel dash
New in box black soft top with soft doors
Everyone kept suggesting a high performance build when rebuilding the motor. I had to remind everyone what it was going back into. That light weight body does not need a high performance built motor. The stock 327ci has enough to power that little jeep anywhere you need to go. By not being high performance it won’t be temperamental either.

At one point this jeep was photographed for JP Magazine. It includes a Meyer half cab.

UPDATE **SOLD** Was $13,200
(06/21/2018) David’s selling his CJ-6. It’s a got some useful updates.
“This CJ-6 is in excellent condition, very rare and comes with the desired Dauntless V-6 and a 4 speed Manual Transmission. The Jeep has had a lot of maintenance and upgrades done to it. It comes with an ExtremeAire on board compressor and all the tools you’ll need to inflate or deflate your tires for whatever terrain you’re in. The Wild Country XTX 255/85 16s are almost brand new. Rancho RS 5000 shocks, locking glove box and rear tool box. Fully carpeted, full padded roll-cage, and the seats are in excellent condition with the exception of one small split on the driver’s seat.
This Jeep comes from Eastern Oregon in high desert country, very easy on the body of older vehicles. The paint is in good condition, but there are a few cracks and worn areas, (see photos). The vehicle has been parked for a few years, but always indoors. The top is in excellent condition and looks almost new. It probably could use a good tune-up, but it runs and drives great. You would have to look very hard to find a CJ-6 in better condition. Feel free to email or text with any questions.”
Looks to be a mid to late 1960s CJ-6.

The ad is a photo of another FB ad (I can only assume it’s the jeep for sale). The body looks in good shape. A little hard to believe this has only gone 500 miles (probably when the odometer broke?).

Listed as a Scrambler (probably just due to listing limitations of the ad software), this is actually a CJ-6.

“Vintage Jeep CJ6 …I have owned her for several years. I am 3rd owner. She’s all stock, no frills, no power steering or brakes, but a blast to drive. 304 v8 with 3 speed tranny. Cruises 70 on the freeway just fine. Don’t want to sell, but looking for a fish/ski boat. Text me, we’ll take her for a spin, and you’ll fall in love with this very rare sweetheart.”
Interesting paint scheme and roll cage design.

(10/01/2019) This is a parts jeep that’s been disassembled. There’s no fake battery box lid, so I suspect the body is later than 1959.
“1959 Willy’s Jeep CJ6
This is a rare, long wheel base CJ. Similar to the CJ5, except for being nearly 20” longer! It’s a project, but it’s mostly there! I have everything except the axles, engine, transmission, or seats. I have the tub, fenders, hood grille, tailgate, windshield, softtop, frame, and title. Too many other projects, sadly, this one must go.”
It says zero rust, but I see some surface rust?

“Yes! You read it right! This is a factory CJ6 — NOT a 5, or a 7, a 6 from California. This is one of few. VERY RARE. And the oldest and only Jeep I’ve ever owned that has ZERO rust! Factory V6. PTO wench. 3 speed. Everything mechanically works great except the brakes will need gone through. Priced as is. On the back burner for now. As I do more, the price will go up. Comes with extra hood and original safari top. Not interested in trades unless totally in my favor. Prefer to sell. Serious inquiries only, please.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2250

“I have a 63 cj6 I would like to sell. I traded my labor for it. From what I have found out it sits on a 78 wagoner frame, 3.8 v6 engine and transmission from a camero. 4 speed manual transmission. It does have a soft top but I have never had it on. I store it in my garage.”
