Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Was running engine pulled from a ’52 or later Willy’s. Its only missing the carb and the distributor cap. Otherwise is complete with bellhousing. Will accept reasonable offers, no delivery. Has been stored with oil in it, intake manifold covered, and plugs in the head so it is a running core. You will need to pick up.”

“Aluminum top from CJ2. Fits similar models such as CJ3A or MB or GPW, with a little work. Fair condition. Could use some cleaning and TLC. One window cracked on passenger door. Rear window needs work. Might have been known as an Arctic Top. 300 or make offer.”

Jeremy provided this photo to show the top installed on the jeep. Because this is a post 1975 hardtop, it likely won’t fit a 1975 or earlier CJ-5 due to the angle and width of the windshield.

“Used half hard top and doors for jeep cj-3b. Fairly sure it is a sears top, has a little bit of rot but overall decent shape for what it is. Trades for cj parts considered.”

Glenn spotted this top for sale, most likely sold by Sears and made by Meyers. Hopefully, someone can use it.
“Nice aluminum top with doors, door mounting pieces and windshield header. It’s in nice shape, not beat up. This will fit a Willys CJ2A, CJ3A, WWII Willys MB or Ford GPW. Hard to find in this shape. Looks to be a Sears tops based on photos I could find.”

This engine looks in good shape and is probably from a CJ-3A or DJ-3A.There’s also supposed to be a jeep chassis and other parts for auction.

Seller is unsure of the model, but given the date provided, I’d say it was a 1953 CJ-3A or CJ-3B. I don’t see pics of the flaps that mount the doors to the body.

“1951 Willys M38 Jeep tub. Pretty good shape. It’s an extra I did not use on my project. Previous owner replaced the hat channels underneath. There is no toolbox but I have a cj 2A toolbox I will throw in. It has the battery compartment cover and glove box door”

I bought this jeep from an old man, and I am certain it never spent a night outside. the windows are clear and not faded, no imperfections anywhere, Its like new. “Willys Jeep CJ2/3A VEC Farm Jeep Newgren Single Bottom Plow Front Counter Weight. Condition is “Used”.
For sale is a Willys Jeep specialized equipment combo consisting of a Newgren brand single bottom land plow and front counter weight. The Newgren brand plow was designed to be used on Willys Farm Jeeps equipped with either a Newgren , Monroe , love , or Stratton Three Point Hydraulic lift or Hitch on back of Jeep. The front weight was mounted on front of Jeep as a counter weight to any of the specialized equipment being used on rear of keep with hydraulic lift.
The front counter weight weighs 265 lbs roughly and is in great shape.
The Newgren single bottom plow is also in very good condition for its age with original Newgren serial number tag still intact. This original Willys specialized combo would be a great addition to any correct Farm Jeep restoration or working Jeep.
These items are way too heavy to be shipped so local pickup will be best, I’d be happy to store them for a reasonable time period once they are paid for

Based on the “W”, I’d say this is a 1950-1953 door. Looks in good condition.

Original posted Dec 10, 2021: Anyone familiar with this unusual took kit that’s been listed on eBay for $80 obo? Was it included in any jeeps or just offered as a dealer option? I would guess it was available in the early 1970s?
I’ve had these same tools for years, but didn’t know they came in a Jeep-marked tool kit container. Here’s my tools (there is nothing marked “jeep”).
