Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Classic tonka honey bucket jeep. Good condition, straight from an estate so it could use a little clean up. Some edge chips, some marker/drawing on the underside of the hood. See photos. Manufactured from 1972-73 based on old tonka catalogs and newspaper ads.”

“Up for sale is a unique WWII jeep. A numbers-matching-original 1942 Ford GPW Script. It has been painstakingly restored using an excellent, rust-free original body, the original Willys style (Midland) frame and completely rebuilt factory correct Ford engine and drive train. This jeep is tight and drives like new. Everything has been restored mostly with original or NOS (new old stock) F-marked parts.

“Everything is new or restored on this jeep. Runs flawlessly. “1953 Willy’s Jeep CJ-3B- Second owner of this Arizona Jeep, clean title, carbureted GM V6 runs great, 3spd trans, new gas tank, new gauges, rebuilt drum brakes, 4wd works, Warn hubs, bed liner interior tub, exempt from emissions, 33″ tires (should be replaced soon), shackle lift, LED taillights., roof rack, bumper storage box, modern jeep seats, needs seatbelts. “1951 JEEP M38 A1 4X4 , has 4cyl,runs great, 1/2 top , converted to 12 volt and 3 speed manual. Has a florida title. I have owned this Jeep for over 45 years.”

You’d think any car that can get to 60MPH in less than ten seconds couldn’t be a Willys. But, Paul discovered that the new Willys AW 380 Berlinetta can do that and more! It’s reminiscent of the Interlagos, which I got a chance to check out this past spring thanks to Dan.

“1958 cj 3b for sale. Fuel injected 283 small block chevy, t-90 trans. 32×11.5 on 15’s BFG mud terrains in good condition. Corbeau seats, rci 4 point harnesses. Auto meter gauges. Custom bimini top. Optima yellow top battery. Deaver front and rear custom leaf springs. Runs great and registration is up to date with clean title in hand, too many projects going on right now and no time to spend on this one. I am looking for the room with three other jeep projects going on right now so I am flexible on the price, so shoot me an offer and come down and drive it. ”

Gas tank has been moved to the rear.
“This vehicle is very fun to drive and will turn heads and start conversations everywhere you go. The CJ6 is highly uncommon if not rare (at least it is rare these days), yet is still easy to find parts for & work on. It is basically a CJ7 with a wheelbase and cabin that is stretched by 20 inches, so from what I understand (& have verified by my experience), most parts off of a CJ7 of the same era will work on a similarly equipped CJ6. It appears to me that this vehicle has the original 225 ci Dauntless V6 in it, which still starts right up and provides plenty of power. The transmission is a manual 3 speed with a PTO which you should be able to engage using a lever near the gear shift, however I am unsure if the PTO works or not. This has been a very fun car to own, but my wife and I are having a baby and moving and it is time to sell it. Hopefully this Jeep will find a new home with someone who will enjoy it as much as I have.”html

It’s been customized.
“I am selling my Jeep… I bought it a little over a year ago, and have done a lot of work in starting to restore it. It has a 56 ford straight six engine, an old three speed manual transmission, 87 Toyota axles and is a lot of fun. I put on a new starter, single wire alternator, wiring harness, brake lines, and custom soft top. I bought it for 2500, and wanted to slowly build up parts to do a total rebuild. Unfortunately life gets in the way, so I am going to let it go. It is a ton of fun, and always grabs attention, and it could be someones dream car with a little time and patience.”

“1949 Willys Panel 2 wheel drive. Currently has the 4cylinder engine, 3 speed transmission with overdrive. Was planning on putting a v6 or v8 in it, but this drive train was running and driving.
