There does not appear to be a whole lot of value here.

“For sale or trade. 1946 CJ2A Willys Jeep body fenders hood windshield tailgate grill and frame only. No title. Body and parts are rough but can be used. Needs the typical rust repairs,it has the original floor under steel plate but not sure of its condition. Frame is in great shape with front horns intact and not hacked on. The guy I bought the frame from stored it behind his barn and the front passenger side sat in the dirt and has rust thru should be an easy fix . I have a spare frame section to repair that area. I was going to make a trail jeep but have since purchased a M37 and will be focused on restoring it. The pictures of the complete jeep are before it was dismantled just to show its overall condition. BEST OFFER or TRADE for M37 parts.”

(08/02/2012) The seller doesn’t say, but I believe this is titled a 1941 based on the frame.  It sounds like a solid little jeep.

“Willys CJ2a body on a 1941 Ford GPW frame. Buick Dauntless Oddfire V6 w/ SM 420 Trans. (granny 1st gear). Stock front Dana 25 with a Dana 44 rear (limited slip posi). 488 gearing. Dana 18 transfer case. Lifted with Rancho springs & shocks. BFG 33″ tires. Best Tiger Top with low back Best top seats. Rear tumble seat. Upgraded 15 gallon gas tank in rear with 4″ LED brake lights. Hoofer Jamboree rack w/spare tire and 2 can holders. Warn 8274 winch mounted with accessories. New Pioneer CD/USB deck. Radiator recently cleaned and flushed.

Mark, Bob, and Sebastian all reported that Saturday’s weather wasn’t the best, with either rain or threats of rain.  Still, there was plenty of to do and many jeeps to photograph.  The most photographed vehicle seems to be the Concept FC.  There are many fans of that rig.

One of the arguments for the Parkway conversion is that the delivery wagon “can now be registered as a suburban vehicle, which grants it access to boulevards and other zoned sections where commercial vehicles are not allowed.”

Buz spotted this one.  It is a no-reserve auction on a beautiful, stock CJ-5.  You’ll want to look at the pics of this one.  Compare the picture of it to the brochure below in the next post, too.

“Selling for my computer inept friend.  This 1960 Willys Jeep CJ5 is in Beautiful Original Condition, probably the nicest original CJ5 in existence.  Totally Original Paint, Upholstery, Engine, Miles, Everything is ORIGINAL. 21055 miles. Clear Title.  Original Spare Tire is not shown in the pictures but is included in the sale.  The tires are believed to be the originals and are in good shape with normal wear and no weather checking.  The Jeep has been stored in a carefully climate controlled building and has seen just enough use in the last many years to keep everything functional and working well.  The Jeep starts easily, runs perfectly, goes down the road as it should, and it needs nothing.  The Hardtop appears to have never been removed since new.  All fluids are fresh and the battery is new.  Look closely at the pictures, they tell the story about this vehicle better than words, more detailed pictures are available if you request them via email.  The Jeep shows very minimal use and wear with no damage or repairs.  All sheet metal is in oustanding condition and the only corrosion is very minimal, located near the tailights on both sides, the pictures show this clearly. Floor pans, fenders, quarter panels hood, undercarriage, were undercoated early in this CJ’s life and have been remarkably preserved.  There are no hidden problems, repairs, or any funny business … This jeep is the real thing, a near museum quality original, unmolested survivor.”

I worked on setting up a Jeeps Thru The Decades display.  one of each Jeep model.  My 3B and brothers M-38 in in the group.  Here are a couple shots from the grounds.  The Underground Jeep guys have brought all their stuff.  Boy they are nice and the Jeep Invasion on Main street was this evening.  It was a show not a parade.”

Has the Original Engine restored back to original displacement, Even has the original Horn restored, Has all Accesories- First Aid Kit, Fire Extinguisher, Tool Kit (complete), Jack & crank handle, All TM’s (Army Technical Manuals) originals ..not reprints, in the correct Document Bag, Deep Water Fording Kit, Beachwood Canvas throughout including Web Straps, Winter Top, Side Curtains, Doors,etc. Has currently installed a 1919 A4 Browning Machine Gun Dummy on the Correct M-31 Pedistal with all accessories. Commander Antenna Mast Bases and Radio hook-up. I have Command Radios which are avialable with their original Manuals.
This jeep Won at the MVPA (Military Vehicle Preservation Association) 1997 Convention for the ‘Post War Restored Class 1st Place’. It won 1st place award “Commander’s Choice’ , korean War, at ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND in 1999, and a total of 13 other awards and trophy’s before I stopped entering it in judgeing competitions. It has been written up in th ‘Cherokee Tribune Newspaper May 5, 2006, page 1-D, Title ‘American Armor’. It also has been in the MVPA 1999 Calendar for Febuary (Very Difficult to Get In). This Jeep represents the ‘BEST of THE BEST’ for M38’s. PLEASE”

I keep a tarp on seats to protect from weather. Motor does run but needs rebuilding, have AZ title for this jeep. Also have a jeep cab on rolling chassis (original wheels). “I have for sale a 1958 Willys Jeep FC 170 Forward Control 3/4 ton pickup with a 9 foot bed. Very cool old 4 x 4! This would be a one of a kind truck once you got her done! That’s the good news. The bad news is, it needs quite a bit of work. I was told by the previous owner that the engine had just been rebuilt and then reinstalled but that’s where the project was abandoned. I have not had the time to mess with it so it has not been running since I’ve had it. It appears to be all original and mostly complete as well but it will need a new back window and one of the sides which I was quoted about $150 for the pair. I do have one replacement door glass and several other small unique parts that will go with it. It does roll so no problem to load it. I do have a clear title on the way from the DMV so there won’t be any paperwork issues. Come check it out! I am also a gun dealer so I’ll accept fireams in trade as well as tools, old cars, parts, or other cool stuff. ”
