UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $10,500.
The seller explains that this is registered as a 1957, but is actually a 1962.
“For Sale 1957 Jeep Forward Control 3/4 ton Pick Up Truck Model FC170
This Jeep FC170 is currently licensed, insured and driven almost every day
Sale to be executed via “Bill of Sale” only as GA does not title vehicles this old. I will also provide the current registration which most states accept for non-titled vehicles (check with your state before bidding).
This truck was completely gone through to make it a safe and reliable daily driver. It is driven locally almost every day (driven over 2500 miles in 2 years). I have taken it on several trips of 100 miles or more and it is very reliable. It will only do about 50 mph so it’s not really an interstate cruiser. Overdrive could be added to gain another 5 mph for about $800 from “Herm The Overdrive Guy.”
THE GOOD (Mostly things done to make safe and reliable)
* New brake master cylinder
* New brake wheel cylinders (all 4 wheels)
* New brake shoes (all 4 wheels)
* New Brake drums (rear)
* Front brake drums were turned
* New front wheel bearings
* Replaced full-time 4WD hubs with Locking Hubs
* New steel and rubber brake lines (all)
* New exhaust, muffler and tailpipe
* New emergency brake cables (front and rear)
* New shocks
* New speedometer cable (speedometer was in-op when I purchased it but currently reads 14418…I’m certain it’s turned over)
* Added new Volts, Oil Pressure & Water Temp gauges
* New gas tank, sending unit, fuel line and skid plate
* New electric fuel pump
* New 1 wire alternator
* Fabricated new coolant surge tank
* New carburetor
* New Air Cleaner Assembly
* Engine tune up, plugs, points wires
* Added original style engine oil filter (they were optional)
* Rebuilt transmission and transfer case (still leaks urgh)
* All new u-joints
* New clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing
* New tail lights
* New ignition switch
* Door lock keys made by matching to tumblers
* Rebuilt heater box (has working 2 speed fan)
* Replaced vacuum wiper motor with electric
* Went through ALL wiring, everything now works as it should
* Refurbished steering column mounted turn signal device
* Added dash mounted signal indicator lights
* Added dash mounted cigarette lighter/power plug
* Replaced horn button, column wire and horns
* New dimmer switch
* Added back up lights and switch with dash indicator light
* Added GMC Safari Van Dual Sun-visors
* Added larger rear-view mirror
* Added retractable seat belts (both seats)
THE BAD
* Some rust (see pics) but nothing you’d be ashamed of from appearances (exception might be the bottom left side of the tailgate). The bed floor was rusty and was replaced with solid sheet steel by previous owner
* Engine runs and drives fine but is old and a bit tired, has a lifter tick but runs and runs like a sewing machine
* Windshield is not cracked but has wiper blade wear marks on passenger side and frosting at some edges
* Wing windows, rear cab windows, back glass and driver’s door glass all fine but passenger door glass has cracks but is usable and will roll up and down
OTHER FEATURES
* 10×15 aluminum wheels with newer tires (80%+ tread remaining)
* Original front bumper modified/fabricated for 8000 pound Warn Winch mounted on 2″ receiver hitch tray (can be removed and mounted on rear or trailer and it uses welder leads to plug into battery circuit)
* Fabricated Scout bumper for the rear with 2″ receiver hitch with 4 & 7 trailer light plugs
* Added tool box with lid lifting struts to the front of the bed
COMMENTS
This has been the most amazing vehicle I’ve ever owned. It gets more attention that any Muscle Car or 4WD vehicle I have ever owned or known. It’s not a trailer queen by any means but would be a great candidate for a total restoration (good bones and complete). Every-time I stop to go in a store there are people waiting for me to come out to ask “WHAT IS THAT?” I’ve had as many as 10 people waiting for me in the Lowes parking lot, even women who in my experience aren’t usually that interested. It doesn’t go real fast, 45-50 tops but it is very reliable. I would drive it anywhere if it weren’t for the speed and gas mileage isn’t that great either with low gears.
It’s registered as a 1957 because that’s what was on the Minnesota title said but Jeep Serial Number lists indicate it is actually a 1962.” Continue reading

“eatiful 1948 Jeep CJ2A Willys
We believe we are the 4th owner only in it’s life. The mileage is approximately 77,800 original miles with the original engine. Does it have character yes but runs and drives great. Top end is about 50 mph and will run all day.
It has been converted to 12v and this winter we did the following
– Brake Pads, Rotors, Calipers, Hoses, & Steel Lines
– Spark Plugs & Wires
– Ingnition & Coil
– Distributor Cap & Rotor
– Lots of Gaskets and Seals
– Transfer Case Oil Pan
– Choke and Throttle
– Steering Stabilizer
– New Guages (except for odometer)
We have the original rims for the smaller tires if you want them. Comes with a bikini top and a soft top. The best news is those areas where it normally has rust has NONE. Nothing in the wheel wells and not even any in the tool box. The original paint has been painted over as it was originally the deep harvest red. The rest has all the character that makes this Willys so popular. “

Tie downs might not be necessary, but I’d advise them!
“WWII Jeep manufactured by Ford Motor Company. Delivery date 10-26-1943. I am the third owner of this jeep. Completely restored. Includes a non-functioning M1919A4 machine gun and mount. I have owned the jeep for around 15 years. Previous owner was a WWII vet, a member of the 101st Airborne 506th and jumped on D-Day. The jeep also comes with a custom trailer especially built to haul this jeep. No tie downs necessary. Fits like a glove. Also for sale with the jeep is a completely restored Bantam T3 trailer delivered 10-2-1942. All three are kept in a climate controlled garage. Asking price for everything is $50,000 OBO.”
John’s selling this clean looking 1982 CJ-7.
“1982 Jeep cj7 for sale. Has the 4.2l I-6 engine. Transmission is the t-5 5 speed. Rear end is the amc30 the front axle is the dana 30. It has the stock transfer case. The odometer says 29,xxx I would assume its 129xxx. The previous owner said it was a maintenance vehicle for a hospital so I am not sure on the mileage. The motor runs great and it shifts great. Brand new clutch with less than a 500 miles. This is not the typical cj with every wire under the dash cut and spliced. Everything works on it with the exception of the windshield washer. It is not currently installed. I do have the spare tire carrier, extra front seat, hard top, bikini top, and hard doors. I only use it in the summer. I get complements every time I drive it. Clean title. No trades—- only cash!!!!”

UPDATE: It appears this jeep has been re-themed into a resort vehicle.
This unusual ambulance jeep was shared on Facebook. I’ve tracked down an additional photo that shows it’s got a standard gas inlet on the side, so I think this may have been a CJ-3A.
This vehicle is located in Vincennes, Indiana (still there??). I’d really like some better photos of this. I’ll offer an Alaska Or Rust T-shirt and my everlasting gratitude if someone could get some more pics of this unusual rig.
UPDATE:**SOLD** Was $8000.

“MUST SELL AND MAKE ROOM IN GARAGE
Meet Velma! She is 70 years old! Just needs paint… although I love her primer color!!!
Purchased this beauty in the spring of 2016!
3 on tree. One taillight. No blinkers. Wipers. Most gauges inside work. She is easy to drive… I just do not use her enough to keep in storage.
Bamboo thatched roof, entire interior restored, and cedar interior. Original jeep parts, just completed entire engine with original Willy parts, have mechanic / receipts to vouch. She is ready for someone to show her off.
$12,000 is price to buy. Purchased a year and a half ago for $6,500 and rebuilt engine to Willy Jeep specs which cost over $5,000!
This car can be viewed at Automotive Authorities in Longmont, CO. These amazing master mechanics are Velma’s mechanic and are very fond of this vehicle. They are happy to answer any questions you might have and/or explain to you anything in regards to her engine.”
