Wagon Model Carved From Wood Block (+ Video)
UPDATE: Here’s a video of the artist at work:
=======================
Homeskoold Customs on Facebook shared this really cool carving of a wagon emerging from an old post. The artist claims not to be a woodworker, but he is most definitely at artist!

Odd MB Shared on FB
Roger Martin spotted this unusual 3B on Facebook. There are only two images included, so there is limited info about it. That said, I’m leaning towards this being a home-brew rather than a prototype.

“This is a hand built 1952 half size Willys jeep. It was constructed for my old neighbor by her father when she was a little kid. It has a wooden frame with the tires are original and the seats are the original canvas. It has a 18 hp Wisconsin air cooled motor out of an old washing machine. I reassembled it with the intention of it being a stationary display. It has functioning LED headlights and tail light that function from a 110 volt standard outlet.
This would be ideal in a restaurant, office, or museum. We decided to restore it as if it were to be for display and not for drive ability. Everything is still as it was when it was running and driving. While my neighbor was tiny when she drove it with the intent to drive around in parades next to her dad in the full-size Jeep. I would be reluctant to make it operational due to its antique nature. When she was younger she and all the neighbor kids what get together every Sunday and ride in it at 5 mph all day long so it has 141 miles on the odometer. it is 66 inches long by 33 inches wide sitting on 15 inch fire stone tires. while I would prefer cash I would consider trading it for”

“Hi there, for sale is my 1947 Willy’s Overland CJ2A. This little jeep has been an awesome vehicle, and doesn’t need much. It has the F-Head Hurricane Willy’s engine that was torn apart and completely gone through, along with the transmission and transfer case. Gaskets and seals were replaced and fresh oil throughout the drive train.
This will start on the first crank even after sitting for a couple weeks.
The differentials have fresh fluid and the manual hubs have been gone through.
The transfer case has a high and low range, and a front diff engage. Three speed transmission.
Newer drum brakes and it stops reasonably well
I drive it all over town and have had it on the freeway for short periods. It will go 50-55 fine, but should probably get some new tires if you plan on long freeway trips.
The Jeep is coated in a Linex type coating that is extremely tough. No rust on the Jeep, any old spots where cut out and repaired by the previous owner.”

“1964 Willys CJ-3B. The last year of the flat fender.
It had a frame-off restoration in 2006, to include a brand new tub. Overall, it runs great, is cranked once weekly and is a great driver. It has NO rust anywhere, which is a very rare find.
It’s not perfect – for most of us Jeep (and Willys) enthusiast, it’s as nice as you or I have seen, but the paint is not show quality. If you’ve been around them, you know it drips some fluids.
It does have a heater and newer canvas, and the interior is in incredible shape (will post more pictures).
What does it need? It currently has a Solex carb with a flat spot (still very manageable to drive). I have the correct Carter carburetor, but it needs rebuilt, which is a $250 or do dollar investment to have done right. It also comes with the PTO winch but does need a shaft.
Come take a look – you’ll be impressed. It comes with a clean title and bill of sale.”

This jeep has thousands of dollars spent on it. Full specs available if serious”
