“Good jeep starts right up 35 firm will start it up in front of you”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3150.
This CJ-5 needs some love, but it looks promising. It’s powered by a diesel. It’s got a Koenig hardtop.
“1957 diesel willys jeep pto clutch driven winch no rust holes ran when parked 2-3 years ago open to trades serious inquiries only please”
This CJ-5 has a “panic button” installed on the dash. But, what really caught my eye, was the unusual bumper. Dualmatic made bumpers at one point. I wonder if this was one model?
https://denver.craigslist.org/pts/d/denver-willys-jeep/7332571938.html
This CJ-5 has an M-38a1 “arctic” top with the wood doors. It seems in reasonably good shape. The side of the body threw me a bit as it appears to lack the “JEEP” stamps on the cowl sides. However, the passenger side looks like it may have had some bondo work, so that may explain why this lacks the stamp (likely either cut and repaired OR bondoed over OR both).
The seller included pics of a text message where some anonymous expert labeled the jeep a “ch3a”[assuming they meant CJ-3A), based on the “one-piece windshield”. The texter continued, writing, “In military lingo I believe it is a m38 … My best guess it is a 47/48 is is definitely military because of the gas cap.”
Hmmm …

“1958 Willys Jeep cj5 hard top project in assembly phase. Parts cleaned painted surfaced for gaskets. On most parts. Block still needs to go to machine chop. Transmission ready for assembly T case is intact. PO did axles and hubs. Before purchase so it rolls. PO also gave a manual and a kizer willys mag for parts most the stuff is outlined With some notes from PO.
Lots of work has been done to this already & lots of leg work already done lots of new parts already new brake lines new brakes new U joints diffs serviced hubs are packed I would really like to see this go to a good home to run someday. Sooner than later I just don’t have the time My loss is your gain. In the kizer willys mag I found the tub of this Jeep $4700 Let alone all the new parts. Already purchased countless man hours already done dismantling cleaning resurfacing. Somethings already reassembly I’d say it’s a steal”

I do not have the brush hog”
This includes a PTO winch. Looks like a good price.

The Meyer half top may be worth the cost of the whole jeep.

This has been in storage for a couple decades and hasn’t been started since. The price is listed as $10,800, but the seller is taking bids (or maybe this is listed on eBay?).

Given the bumper and the chromed windshield hinges, this might have an early Tux Park package on it?

(03/08/2021) Some value here for the right person.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $10,000.
John is selling his modified Tux Park called Quicksand.
“1966 Jeep CJ-5 Tuxedo Park. This Jeep is not perfect but does run and drive. It is not an everyday vehicle. It is not currently tagged. I let the tags expire a few years ago. Does have a clean clear title. As you know, its not everyday you see one of these 60’s Jeeps for sale. Most of them rusted away. Pictures speak for themselves. It turns every head and sounds better than any Mustang. It has brand new custom dual exhaust with original barn find flow master mufflers. 3 speed transmission. Manual steering. A 1967 Jeep Wagoneer dauntless 350 V-8 (5.7L) was swapped into it. 33/14.50/15 Mickey Thompson tires. It’s low and wide. I do have soft doors for it (not pictured). I only have the bikini top because its just a toy. It was built for classic car cruising, small shows, and ice cream shops. I have piles of receipts. It is always garage kept. To clear a few things up. I am in no hurry to sell it and I only check my messages once a day. I am only taking best cash in hand offers after a few weeks listed.”
UPDATE: Nate pulled the head off and freed up the two stuck exhaust valves. It now runs great! Also replaced the water pump that started leaking.
(05/04/2021) Nate’s selling this pieced together CJ-5 Tux Park.
http://www.earlycj5.com/xf_cj5/index.php?threads/1965-tuxedo-park-mark-iv.147547/
“Selling this tuxedo park I pieced together from several different jeeps. All of the jeeps I used had issues. One had a bad frame, but good engine and transmission, one had a good frame with a title and the other had a decent body. Yes, it does have title with vin tag and jeep trim tag attached to the blue cowl in the pics.
Comes with a bunch of spare parts, including another junk windshield frame with a good glass, chrome windshield latches and chrome hinges, chrome tail gate hinges and a column shift T90. Has tuxedo park 10″ brakes and small yoke front driveshaft. Some column shift linkage is still on the column. Blue hood has chrome hood hinges as well. Jeep runs and drives, but it has a stuck exhaust valve. Blue cowl also has a column shift dash. I have 4 extra wheels that go with it, so there will be seven wheels that match. The white one is some sort of oddball thing. The matching ones are correct for a tux park. The only coolant leak I see is from the water pump. Asking $5000 or best offer. I can deliver to the Great Willys picnic in June.”
The 3B is listed as a 1952 CJ2.
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/3515439378534315/
“1952 cj2 has title runs and drives. Body is on a 56 cj5 frame. 5000 takes the running one with spare parts and the old frame as well as the cj5 body with no title for parts. Currently has antique tags and is road legal but needs lots of work as none of the lights are yet hooked up. Has fresh head gasket and got head shaved. 4×4. Fun to play around with but I don’t have time and were getting a side by side. Will entertain reasonable offers.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $17,900.
David refurbed this Tux Park CJ-5 with an early dually package.
“Up for sale is my 1964 Kaiser Willys CJ5 tuxedo park. It’s my 4th ground up restoration. I’ll start with what I didn’t do which was changed the gears in the axles as they looked great. And also I did not paint it as you could see. It’s original color was red. I did replace every race and bearing as well as front and rear hubs. All new 10” brake system (tuxedo park) front to back including cylinders and lines. All new fuel system front to back.
Completely rebuilt original Hurricane 4cyl engine. Show quality original rebuilt carburetor. Professionally rebuilt transmission and transfer case. All new u-joints. New alternator (tuxedo park had them factory) . The body is a reproduction all metal and not a bit of rust. Radiator and hoses all brand new. Right now it has a dealer sold dually farm kit on the back which is easily removed. There are seven brand new wheels and tires. Interior is all new and includes a new “Vintage Air”heater and defrost system.
Glass is new and it comes to the brand new best top super top. Frame is an excellent shape as I replace the original. Also there’s a brand new wiring kit from Walks 4wd along with an electronic distributor. I’m sure I missed a lot of items that I added to this so any questions feel free to contact me.
Oh, Also for this price will be extra parts such as the Tuxedo Park three on the tree transmission and shifter as well as the original transfer case plus many other parts. Just in case you’d like to restore it back to a tuxedo park. Approximately 150 miles on rebuilt engine.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** for $12,500 on BAT.
