“Drove it into the shelter last fall, hard top is in nice shape, body has rust”
This has the 0-10 King Seeley speedometer, so is likely an early 1955 jeep.

“1955 Willys CJ5, Stock / Uncut.
4 cylinder, three speed, with hard top and doors.
Running condition, current registration.”
Glenn shared this restored CJ-5. Looks in great shape.

“Restored 1967 Jeep CJ5. Great condition. Clean title. Garage stored.
The CJ5 restoration was completed in early 2017 and brought to Nantucket 2021. It has about 600 miles since restoration. The CJ is all original except the tub. Even the color is a factory color. It has a rare 6 cylinder. Most were delivered with the standard 4 cylinder. There is a new top with side windows, but need poles. The following was added: electronic ignition. electric fuel pump and a ahooga horn. Its in mint condition.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8200.
Given the dash plaques, this was likely a long time Jeep Club jeep. This likely has the F-5-200W Kelly hardtop (it could have been original to the jeep).
“Clean little 1966 CJ5 for sale runs and drives great, v6 96000 original miles. Hard top, 3 speed manual with two speed transmission. Defrost with heat and 2nd heater for cab. No rust just a couple minor dings. Also comes with factory driver seat, hydraulic snow plow, plow lights. Cool little jeep, just a little small for me. Clean title in hand.”
Lacks working brakes, but has a rear PTO gearbox and a sears or allstate branded half cab. It also has a rare 0-9 King Seeley speedometer (with a normally broken needle).

“Solid jeep, get engine bay pictures tomorrow. Nebraska title runs, no brakes, complete pto don’t see those often”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(04/102022) Maybe there are enough parts to make this worth someone’s time?

“3.8 v6 3 spd manual tranny locked up needs brakes needs floor pans replaced no top but the hardware is there very hd bumpers have 1955 cj5 for parts between the two u can make one”
Kevin spotted this great looking CJ-5 with a Kelly hardtop, model F-5-200.

“1962 Willys Jeep CJ5: Just up from Florida, with Florida registration. 4WD with 3 speed on floor. Original L134 motor with 24K miles! Very rare Kelly winter cab that locks and factory heater (always Florida vehicle). Rear over wheel seats that match front seats. Unbelievable Condition!”
Mike spotted this trencher. It’s not far from him. He said he’d be willing to look at it for someone. I’m surprised this doesn’t have duallies on the back. It does have a rear pto gear box sitting in the jeep as well, so it seems there is some definite parts value here.

“50 – 60’s believe CJ 5 jeep with trencher. Looks like auger in picture but looking at in closely it is part of the trencher. NO TITLE”
David spotted this jeep. It includes a hardtop. Curiously, this chassis has the front reverse shackles, suggesting that either the jeep is earlier than 1958 (though it has the later SW 0-9 speedo or that the frame might not be original to the body. A close inspection is necessary on this one.

“For Sale! Father/Son project now available due to health concern. New Engine, (4cyl.) Rebuilt Transmission, great vehicle been in the family like forever. Rhino Liner painted body with accents of Tan. Larger 11″brakes installed. New wiring harness during assembly, new windshield and gasket, upholstered seats with “Sunbrella”. Comes with Koenig Hard Top, Soft Top, Bikini Top. Soft Doors and Koenig Doors all working well. Good Tires, Gauges work, seen by appointment only. Reply by email then we’ll text. Selling price will need to be in CASH, before signed CA title is given.”
David shared this CJ-5. Note that the body is pre-1963 (had the fake battery box lid), so unclear why this is listed as a 1966.

I didn’t get to complete the build of it, but it’s a great jeep”
Unclear if this runs or not. No description provided. Has a Koenig hardtop.
Looks like a good price on a racing shell.

“70s style fiberglass jeep tub skin located in Clintonville”
There might be value in the parts.

“1974 Jeep CJ-5 Renegade 4×4. 304 v8, 3 speed. This is a project Jeep. Motor is stuck, could be clutch fork don’t know. Everything is there for the Jeep except seats, but do have brackets and hardware. Mostly a complete jeep. It is a Renegade cj5 model. It will need a lot of work mainly in driveline and body. Frame is good. Has its original pinto bean style rims and seems to be an original jeep with everything there. Sold as is where is. Will need trailered. No trades. 2500.00”
This might be worth a look. Has a Meyer-style hardtop, a tux park style rear bumper, and many other parts. The passenger fender looks to be from an early M-38A1, while the driver’s side fender may be original.

“1966 CJ5 jeep all orinal motor 4 cly 4×4 tittle in hand …non-op status ..extra parts included see pictures”
UPDATE: Joe spotted this Flickr photo from 1965 that may just show this jeep when brand new.
“January 1965 Kaiser Jeep Corporation press photo of new CJ5s being delivered to Washington, D.C. for the U.S. Presidential Inauguration of Lyndon Johnson on January 20, 1965. Each float in the parade would be towed by a new 1965 CJ5.”
I hoped to find the above photo in a newspaper, but didn’t have any luck. I did find this short article from the January 30th, 1965, issue of the San Angelo Standard-Times:
Based on this article, I would guess that the white showing through from underneath the green suggests this was one of the white jeeps for the parade.
=============================
Originally posted May 04, 2022: Listed as a 1963, this was more likely a 1965 as that’s when the Tux Park IV first arrived. This jeep has a plaque indicating it was used in Lyndon B. Johnson’s inauguration parade. This was listed for $800 on FB and sold within a day. Thanks to Jordan for forwarding it to me.
“HistoricalJeep- metal tag on glove box says it was in the 1965 inaugural parade,no title, runs good, good working four wheel drive, no breaks”
Is that some kind of lift/fork-lift/press on the front of the CJ-2A?

“Willys Jeep’s 2 are complete and one isn’t. One truck bed made into trailer. Make an offer. Open to trades”
Mike’s selling this nice looking Tuxedo Park IV. It includes a beautiful example of a Kelly Safari Hardtop, complete with the soft-top sections and one of the best examples of that top that I’ve seen. This jeep was listed on Bat (with lots of pics) and other sites, including Craigslist. The body has been restored in some places and patched on the front floors.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $14,000.
This has a replacement body. This may be a 3B or a CJ-5 chassis given it is a 1955.
“Beautiful 1955 Jeep Willys frame off restoration, only 753 miles since it was restored. Has a Buick V6, 3 speed manual, everything is new. Warn winch. This is a show vehicle. Price is firm. Might consider trade offers, no junk please.”
This sports a 2 cylinder Duetz Diesel.

“1965 CJ5 4 cylinder with 3 on the tree. Removable doors and fiberglass top. 4,000 OBO on the Jeep”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000.
This is possibly a former Navy CJ-5, according to the seller. A Kelly hardtop is included.
“1973 m38 navy jeep 6cyl. 3 tops, hard and soft doors. runs and drives but needs tires. also have 2 military engs. with trans and some tires. engs I don’t know about but would take 200 for them. tires all of them for 200. some hold air I have not went through them”

“Built in 1959, probably 1960 model. Complete, frame seems solid, Chevrolet V8 installed, transfer case for front wheels also in place. No title. 12V system”
Listed as a 1960, it appears later than that given the fenders and grille. The dashboard is about as minimalist as they get!
