“you have both of them for 1200”
Has a Kelly hardtop. I’m surprised this is still around at this price.

“Built in 1959, probably 1960 model. Complete, frame seems solid, Chevrolet V8 installed, transfer case for front wheels also in place. No title. 12V system”
Listed as a 1960, it appears later than that given the fenders and grille. The dashboard is about as minimalist as they get!

“This is a 1965 Jeep CJ5a limited edition Tuxedo Park Mark IV. The Jeep has not run in a few years now, when we parked it my mechanic indicated it had a timing issue and I haven’t gotten back to it since. Compression was good at that time. It has the original 134 cubic inch Hurricane 4 cylinder motor”
It runs, so there could be value here.
“1973 Jeep CJ5 , Stock V8 , stick shift , runs and drives , It jumps out of first gear not sure whats wrong with it , but over all has the power as it should , 4×4 works , for the $2250obo or possible trade , would make a nice project jeep or just wheel it !! Serious inquiries only”
It looks like there’s been some good work here. It might make a good project.

“1962 Willys Jeep Does NOT run!! Willing to part. Clean CA Title”

This could be worth a look. No title, but it runs and drives. It’s got some nice features plus the Meyer hardtop.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500.
I’m not sure what’s going on with the hub on the driver’s side. It includes a Koenig(?) hardtop and a pto winch.
“I have a 1959 Jeep for sale. The body is in good shape, I don’t see any rust anywhere. It’s a 4X4, with a manual transmission. It has an inline six-cylinder engine. It has a metal hard top that can be removed. It has been sitting for a while so it will need to be trailered or hauled, I don’t know when it ran last my uncle was going to get it running but passed away.”
This has some hard-to-find older rims. It’s listed as a 1974, but it looks more like mid to late 1960s.

“No title, runs.”
UPDATE: **Sold** Was $3500.
This is a project, but the body appears solid.
“PROJECT. 1966 Jeep CJ5. Engine swap was started and GM 3.8 liter (231ci) V6 is mounted to frame. Mileage on engine is unknown. Body is straight and clean. Some surface rust in box. Needs brakes, clutch, front driveline, accelerator linkage, etc…Engine runs – but jeep cannot be driven”

(11/22/2022) Seller notes it isn’t a daily driver at this point.

“1966 Jeep CJ5 Tuxedo Park. 350 Jeep Wagoneer engine (aka Buick) from 1970 Jeep Wagoneer in place of the original Jeep V6. (mileage unknown) Manual steering, drum brakes, 33×14.50×15 Mickey Thompson Tires. 3 speed transmission. New custom dual exhaust with vintage single chamber mufflers. Sounds great! Lots of receipts & new parts. Title in hand. Not currently tagged. Runs but has old gas from just sitting in the garage all the time & may need to be primed &/or temperamental. Comes with two hoods. The big hood has a couple small stress cracks seen up close. Comes with original removable soft doors & bikini top. Its very unique & its is quite a head turner. It is +56 years old and far from perfect. It is not a daily driver, its a piece of history. I am getting rid of it because I have lost interest. Cash or possible trade for other unique toys like Scout, Willys, Tractor, & ATV. I do not respond to “is this still available” & I do not respond to online offers. More details and pictures are available upon serious inquires.”
Brian spotted this nice looking, stock CJ-5.

“Very nice CJ5 4 cyl. 4wd. 3-spd. Have owned for more than 10 yrs and enjoyed by our family for summer time drives. Always stored indoors. Many improvements during ownership: new seals and fluid in front axle, fuel pump and hose assy, Firestone tires, exhaust manifold and muffler, leaf springs and shocks, battery, fan belt, etc. Heater works. Will not respond to “is it available”. This is a great vehicle to enjoy. if you are interested pls contact for more information.”
For the price, this could be worth a look. Though listed as a 1952 M-38A1, the body and front clip look like they are from a CJ-5 (except for the fact that there is no “JEEP” stamped into the cowl.

“1952 M38A1 Willys 1/2-Ton 4×4 ‘Utility Truck.’ Roll bar, rear rack, front trailer bar, front and rear hitch receivers, additional front driving lights, front brush guard. Excellent for hunting, farm or ranch.”
UPDATE: Frank explained the sprayer on the side of the jeep: The sprayer in question is termed a back pump sprayer. The wildland Firefighters used this type of back pump on mop up of forest fires. The can could carry 5 gallons of water. Later came the rubber type back pump to mop up forest fires. The rigid pump was awkward when bending over spraying water and even when empty it was awkward. The rubber type back pump was like walking with 5 gallons of Jello on your back. When spraying, you used one of your fingers over the nozzle to disperse the water to cover more area. Short pieces of used cotton jacketed hose was often used on the shoulder straps on the rigid type pumps to relieve some of the “torment” to your shoulders. Both of these style pumps had nicknames that are not printable at this time.
If you are looking for a mid-1960s CJ-5, this might be a good value. It includes a 120volt mod and something on the side (water?).

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was Make Offer.
Mike spotted this project. There seems to be value here. As of Monday night the ad was pending, but I haven’t seen any update on it this morning.
“Selling parts or whole. I 1968 cj no title. Was started in 2012 as a frame off restoration. Frame was redone and the tub. Was parked in 2013 outside. Ran and moved on its own power than. Name what parts you want or offer a price for the whole thing. End of the week goes to the scrap yard. Mileage on the motor unknown”
It’s not currently road worthy, but it does have some interesting mods. The mod at the very rear appears to be a gas tank. I suspect the cargo area may be an animal cage of some type.

“Early model half cab Jeep (milage & yr unknown) 4×4 lock in/ lock out hubs, 4 cyl engine, runs good, new fuse box, fuses. Ignition switch. Horn, lights and windshield wipers work. 3 speed manual transmission, pto winch, a frame tow bar, nice fuel tank on rear, covered bed, metal doors, some repairable rust spots, tires are showing dry rot. Nice deer camp or farm Jeep. Wouldn’t take much to make it road ready. Bill of Sale. $4650.00”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $5000.
I post this because it wins the award for the most creative use of a Uhaul item (as a seat cover), along with the unusual rear cargo mod.

“Everything is factory on this runs and drives factory PTO with blade .needs new leaf springs in the front, shocks have all been replaced. Price is firm please no messages after 10 pm won’t answer until morning thank you. Oh it is not mine I’m helping a neighbor.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $1500.
This modified CJ-5 has an extended rear. The seller is unsure of the year, but it seems most likely a mid 1960s CJ-5 given the lack of a tailgate stamp and no faux battery box lid.

This may have a set of Kelly hubs. It’s got a winch. The body doesn’t look too bad. There may be parts value here at the very least.

“67 Jeep CJ5 Runs and drives well. Has low and high range 4 wheel drive. Frame is solid and straight. Needs body work or a new tub. Comes with a tow bar”
Blaine shared this one, too. It has a PTO winch and warn hubs, so there’s a little bit of parts value here.
“Parts Jeep, 4 cyl gas engine, front PTO winch, soft top, 4 x4. manual transmission, 235/75R15 tires”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
This could be a good parts jeep. Thanks to Tom for sharing it.
