Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This mostly appears to be a 2A body, but it also has a well for an MB/GPW style tank and it lacks a fuel inlet hole on the driver’s side. It may actually be a reproduction body of some kind.

“About 1946 or 47 Willys JEEP body. Windshield, the Tub with tool box under passenger seat, Tail Gate, Hood, war 2 Grill. There is a little rust that on tail gate that is repairable. It has been inside my heated shop for over 3 years. I sold the 2 flat finders to a another person 3 years ago. You will have to come and see it to be-leave it. Seller believes this was a CJ-5 hardtop at one point, but I don’t see any mods that would indicate that.
“I have a Willy’s jeep hardtop for sale. The top bolts to any flat fender jeep with a MB/GPW windshield frame. (Excluding CJ 3B) The top started off as a early aluminum CJ5 top. it has been highly modified to fit the early Jeeps.”

Maury shared this odd part. It seems for a jeep, but neither of us recognize it. It is 2″ in diameter. I would guess the tabs on the back secure it to something?

“Ames Plow Company 45 antique single bottom plow. It was used on the rear of a Jeep CJ2A back in the mid 40s. Its been stored indoors for 70+ years.

“I’m helping a friend sell some FC body panels that her deceased husband was collecting. I’m not an expert on the FC’s so I’m doing my best. There are multiple cab corners, floors, and upper cab portions. I have more pictures and can get more if needed. Price?? Cab roof pillars $200 each.
Cab with corners and floor $1500.00
