From the company’s website, “First and foremost, we are a Canadian company that takes pride in the satisfaction of restoring World War II military jeeps and being able to sell very rare jeep parts for those that wish to do the work themselves…. We restore complete vehicles. The customer vehicles in the Photo Gallery are awaiting restoration. The engine is out.
“1957 Willies Jeep civilian version. The body is in good condition over all although there is a small amount of rust in the front passenger fender (I’ve included a photo of it), the paint and interior are in fair to good condition and the tires have 75% of the tread left. It comes with the original Hurricane 4 engine which is currently not running because we removed the radiator to start the process of replacing the rear main seal but never got it done. It also comes with the original 3-speed manual transmission. For an additional $1,500 I’ll include a Chevy V8 383 stroker and a new turbo 350 hydro transmission with torque converter. Motor includes all accessories: carburetor, alternator, brackets and pully’s. Also take a look at my 1957 Military style Willies Jeep I have for sale as well. (It’s located in Lindon)”

There’s value in the rolling chassis (posi front and rear).
“I have a 1957 cj-5 roller with posi front and rear differentials, full cage roll bar, good front clip and a salvageable tub. There is not an engine, transmission or transfer case for this jeep. I do have a seperate turbo 350 advanced adapted to a twin stick dana 18 transfer case. This roller has a 4 inch Rancho Lift and power steering. No title on this jeep.
I have lost interest in this jeep, as I have my heart set on a 69 chevy short bed truck. I will consider all trades for 67′ thru 72′ chevy trucks complete trucks with or with out paper work to trading parts for parts. I need a 68 front clip, bed, or a good running 350,454………. Thank you for looking and will consider parting out, partial trades, or cash, etc..”
UPDATE: This sold for $600. It looks like a good buy at that price.
The seller lists this as a ’51, but it looks like a MB to me. Must sell quickly.

“Ok here goes… To the best of my knowledge this is a 1944 willys military jeep. Vehicle has no title and is being sold as parts. Gussett no. is 244,0xx. Some one has done extensive modification to this jeep ! get ready ! Its got a f-85 olds six cylinder engine (non running) A PTO SHIFTER AND THE PTO GEAR BOX FROM A CJ JEEP. (Drive line currently to PTO gear box is hooked into axle winch). The pto gear box seems firm but the Pto shifter wont shift with normal pressure, im not going to force it ! possibly will need dismantled and gone threw or may just need cleaned Extra rear axle converted to a winch with lots of cable, the winch cable is to the front of the jeep thru rollers. Electrical plug in socket in rear panel( I beleive this is origional) IT ALL SO HAS A CORVETTE T10 BORG WARNER TRANSMISSION, WAS FOR 1963 IMPALLA 409 SS or corvette 327 APPLICATION ORIGIONALLY ( T10148B T10D-1) the transmissions origional tail shaft is now replaced with the transfer case and PTO to make every thing in sinc. There are a lot of extra parts that go with the Jeep,i wont list but you will see in pics. this jeep also has a tilt steering colum ! I beleive it has a m38 windshield. Ive discribed jeep the best i can, between pics and discription you shoud get a good discription, That said vehicle, or parts come with no warrenty . If jeep doesnt reach reserve, but if i so choose to still sell to higest bidder, the transmission will not be included in sale, but will be included for a additional 600 dollars.”

Specifically, it seems one of my fingers is either broken or dislocated (two different diagnoses) while playing basketball today. The worst part was that we had just barely started playing. I had hoped the swelling would decrease enough to allow more efficient typing, but that did not happen.
However, there was some good news. Not only did I make the shot, but it was the ring finger on my left hand that was damaged, a finger I have no further use for anyway. That poor finger has been more damaged, on and off the court, than any of my other fingers :-).
UPDATEIII: Now on ebay http://www.ewillys.com/?p=53328
UPDATE II: You can view larger pics here: http://jpegbay.com/gallery/000807963-.html of this fake ad. The seller will only take payment via Google Checkout because he is in such a hurry. Paul points out something I missed — this has an 8″ lift … or not! Thanks to John for detective work on this one.
UPDATED: John alerted me that this GPW is also listed for sale in Chicago. Since neither ad mentions the jeep being in either city, be on a scam watch just to be safe.
This could be a reasonable price. Appears in good shape. The hood blocks are in a strange location.

I was checking out Wes’ Offroad Action site the other day and ran across this amazing photo. There is no evidence to support the rumor that the driver was texting just before this occurred (in fact, texting was a few decades away yet). But, I’ll make the claim anyway. See kids, particularly my kids, don’t text and drive off road!
