Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1943 World War II military jeep. Clean clear California title with no back fees. It’s all stock except for the small Block Ford V8 that runs excellent. It also has hanging petals with hydraulic brake and clutch master cylinder. This is a great little run around hot rod Jeep that could easily be a candidate for a full restoration or Rockcrawler build. Or just leave it the way it is and have a great time. If you don’t think this is a great deal, then it probably isn’t the deal for you 😊  It has all of the hard stuff to find. Nine slot military grill with the stock headlights and headlight brackets. Tool boxes with latches in the back of the tub. Hood without Willys on it. The correct windshield frame. “F134, T90,Dana18, 5:38 gears, I bought this 2 years ago at auction. Since then did a full body off frame restoration. Rust free Frame, body has minor rust by drain plugs & rear body mounts. Rebuilt the T90. New complete Exhaust & muffler. It has 30” 15×7.5 Coker tires with spare. New gas tank Solex carburetor but i do have the Carter YF. Myers Hardtop W/ doors but still work in progress. Farmers Draw Bar hitch Seats i made myself. 8 extra 15” wheels I do have extra axles. One from a CJ7 & (2) 1966 CJ5 4:88 axles, covered in snow. It is Titled & has insurance. Price is a bit high, only reason theres high demand for Jeeps. I am flexible on price. Drop me a DM.”

It turns over, but doesn’t start at the moment. The Kelly hardtop looks to me to be the Custom Full Cab, rather than a Safari top.

This Jeep is actually a CJ6 safari edition. It has a pto pinch with snow plow attachment. I don’t have the plow. The engine turns over but don’t start due to the fuel system being disconnected to be cleaned. Just don’t have time to finish it.”

“1951 Jeep CJ3A · Other_body_style · Driven 123,456 miles
Details in the photos. Well built Jeep. I bought it a little while ago from the builder with the intention of keeping it but I found the expedition build platform I want so a couple toys need to go.
It will track down the highway at 65mph no problem, starts every time and hasn’t given me any issues. Wheelbase it stretched about 6” I’d guess but I haven’t put a tape on it. Top in in good shape but one door window has a 6” tear.
I have new front shock mounts ready to be welded on and Ruff-Stuff 3/8 diff covers for both axles with Lube Locker gaskets un-installed.

Clean title in hand Please be aware this vehicle is only 2wd as well as right hand drive. The jeep currently has an 232 6cyl engine Automatic transmission Dana 44 rear with 3.07 gears Also included are all the parts I have that I intended to use to convert it to 4×4. This includes Cj5 frame and narrow track axles with 4.56 gears. Set of seats from a PT cruiser that will bolt right in. Dana 300 transfer case 2 AMC 232 engines. This is a fun article about a former decorator turned jeep jockey named Pvt. Hurshal (Peewee) Wilson in New Guinea ‘captured’ 17 prisoners. It appeared in the Medford Mail Tribune (Medford,Oregon). His jeep was named “Helen” after his girlfriend.
Hurshal would survive WWII and leave the Army a Tech 5, but his relationship to Helen did not. Instead, he married Deedra R (Harman) Wilson. He passed away in 1991, his wife passing later in 2006, with both buried at Riverside National Cemetery. There is no evidence they had children.

“Aftermarket Sears Manual Locking Hubs Taken Off Willys MB Fits CJ2A GPW Jeep CJ. Condition is “Used”. Used take offs for rebuild or parts. D-bubba-ing my 1945 MB and finally got around to removing these off the front axles. As is condition. The Jeep has not run since I acquired it and therefor these are untested in driving conditions. Mounting bolts are not included.”
Listed as a 1947, this appears to be a 1946 VEC CJ-2A. This has a BW overdrive. And, it might have the Hudson steering mod.
