Another car from my parents collection. They purchased it over 15 years ago from Idaho. Someone did a great job with the later model change over V8 and Auto Transmission, 400 Pontiac Engine. Looks like console and some interior also came from a Pontiac Firebird.
2 wheel drive. We did a minor freshen up restoration including cleaning fuel lines, new brake lines, new battery and new distributor.
No Rust! Convertible Top and Interior are very clean and well taken care of. Starts, Runs and Drives Great.
Really fun convertible car. Prices right. No DISAPPOINTMENTS!”

This is listed as a 1942 CJ2b; a rare model indeed. Humor (or lack thereof) aside, could be a solid jeep, though the peeling paint on the hood may have some filler in it (I can’t quite tell).

“This very rare 1950 Willys Jeepster is one of only 5,845 cars built this year. A total of 19,132 Jeepsters were ever made in the years 1948, 1949, and 1950. Compare that to the one year numbers of the 1965 Mustang at 559,451 cars, and you can see just how rare they are. This one is a real Unicorn, because it has zero cancer anywhere I have looked. The areas where they typically rust are just beautiful. The power is from a more modern Ford; it is a 2.3 Liter overhead cam engine that runs very well, and has considerably more horsepower than the original Flathead 4, plus it has Electronic Ignition and a new 60 amp Alternator. The transmission is a freshly rebuilt C-4 3 speed automatic. The original fuel and amp gauge work great as do the aftermarket Oil, Water, and Amp Gauges. The top is in decent condition; just needs a window sewn in. No side curtains, but they are easy to come by. To be a 35K show car it will need new paint and some work done to it, but you can drive it home as it is! This is a real bargain at 8500.”

This double-sided brochure is printed in French on one Sid era German on the other. The only driver shown in the pics is a woman at the helm of the CJ-2A. Given the vehicles pictured, my guess this was printed in 1947 or 1948. The paper is extremely thin, so I’m surprised this one survived.
This brochure highlights the jeep’s ease of operation.

Quora.com indicates the tank is an M-50 Sherman that was damaged during fighting along the West Bank during 1967. I had no idea running over an M-38A1 could knock out a tank like that! (my poor attempt at humor…).
This jeep was the first vehicle to go from West Germany to West Berlin following the soviet blockage of Berlin.

“Hello, I have a somewhat large Willys parts collection that i would like to sell. Its a collection from my dad and i dating back to the 1980’s. He is 80 and no longer has interest in keeping most of it and honestly there’s so much stuff i don’t really know what all is there. Included are multiple engines, sheet metal, interior parts, transmissions, transfer cases, axles, frames, etc. for wagons, trucks, jeepsters, cj2 cj3, mb and maybe a few cabover parts, trash cans full of parts, containers full of part, etc. There might be a few NOS parts too but I have to look and see what i might keep as i’m likely gonna keep one or two of the Willys vehicles as my kids have been wanting a father kid classic car project. I would like someone who can come to my place in Hesperia and my dads in Riverside to see it all. Keep what you want and sell the rest to other Willys enthusiasts. I don’t have time to part it out or deal with those that are looking for a few parts. Tried that before and it was a big waste of time. Pics only show a part of whats there. Please understand that you will need a decent amount of storage space for all this, preferably inside storage and much of it is very heavy and it will take multiple loads so be realistic. Thanks”

“Classic Willys Jeep has a 2.8l V6, T90 3speed trans with newer transfer case and larger front and rear axcles. Has wide 36″ tires and alumin craragar rims. however tires are rotted and one is blown out. Also has the desirable fiberglass body. I purchased to fix up but due to property I live at being up for sale I have to let someone else do this project. Unsure of engine issues as it did not run when I purchased it. It does turn over. no water in oil or in radiator. Great project for father and son or for off roading or steeet wise.”
