Per Joe-in-Mesa: “Jun’s dream was to restore/finish the M170 project as the new MASH jeep due to it’s rot-free body, then outfit it with all the ambulance gear, canvas and medical supplies. This would leave a buyer with a “leftover” solid, running M170 to sell or do the body work or just enjoy for off-roading fun in a stretched jeep.”
“Fully Outfitted M170 Field Ambulance. June 1954. #11414. 24V.

“Selling a 1947 fully restored CJ2A Willy’s jeep and 1947 restored Bantam Trailer. Part of estate being sold off. Have plenty of receipts to go along with sale. Painted in a period color “Princeton Black” with “Sunset Red” lettering. Call with questions or offers.”
Looks like a nice build. I’m wondering if the top was designed for a CJ-5 originally? I haven’t seen a top adapter in the front quite like this one.

“1942 Willys MB Jeep built 1/8/1942. The serial # is 110515, frame # 110515, engine # MB595247. This Jeep was restored 18 years ago and driven 20 miles since. The Jeep has the original metal and Tub with some rust in the forward hat channel and a dent behind the passengers seat (see photos). The engine starts easily and runs very well, the transmission works as it should. The transfer case works correctly but is dripping some oil. All gauges work except the fuel gauge. The tires are as new and the brakes are very good. All electrical is working except the horn. Correct dish wheels. This Jeep has the correct steering wheel, the later WWII jeeps had the steel spoke wheels to save rubber.
This is a good looking and good driving 42 MB.”
This looks in nice shape. Has an unusual front bumper setup. I’m not sure how the seller arrived at this statement:”OVERDRIVE 5TH GEAR FOR REACHING HIGHWAY SPEED.”

“This is a stunning 1948 Willy’s Jeep that has been carefully restored to be a perfect piece for a collector or a Jeep lover who wants a piece of American History. Purchased with plans to drive as a summer toy, plans have changed and need to find this beauty a great home. Vehicle displays 66,705 miles. Vehicle has been restored and includes many original components, including the engine, transmission, bridge frame, gauges, etc.
Was repainted in a satin fire red color and is a real head turner both on and off the road. As you can see from the pictures, all restoration components were carefully selected to be vintage OEM pieces and the work was done to keep the vintage feel of the era. The jeep includes 1/2 doors with canvas uppers (not pictured) and a full canvas top (as shown).
This ought to be good for tackling desert and mountain trails in the PNW.

“Nice almost all org 1952 M38 CND for sale. The good – Almost all org. Seems to be mostly a survivor. CND M38s are very rare under 3000 made as compared to 60,000 US. Rebuilt carb and all brake components are new. Runs great no shake or shudder at any speed does not jump out of 2nd at any time. Very Rare and much cheaper than a new side by side and it is worth more money every year. The bad- 12 volt now with non waterproof system. Some rust repair not perfect but good. Old dent on right rear looks to be not repaired correctly. Non org is the 12 volt and the lock out hubs on the front axle. The tool box was repaired at some time and is about 2 inches deeper than stock. Jeep is in AZ with clean title and AZ registration as Historic Vehicle. I have the complete roof with a few spare pieces and the canvas is good but the windows are not due to age and yellowing.”
UPDATE: bidding has reached 10,000, but the reserve has not been met yet as of (03/07).

Bill shared this M-38A1 for sale. The seller doesn’t note it, but the bumpers suggest this to be the USMC variant. This also has the Selector-Style Free-Lock branded hubs. It’s the first time I’ve seen that style of Selector branded Free-Lock (the others I’ve seen have been the more squat version and/or the more polished version).
“This is a 1953 M38A1 jeep that I did a full frame off restoration and engine rebuild. The horn does not work. Drives well. New canvas seats. Low miles on almost new tires. Clear Iowa Title.”

“Fun car. Head turner for sure. Great parade car. Runs and drives great. It’s 71 years old so it’s got it’s leaks and quirks but easy stuff to manage. New water pump, fuel pump and fuel filter. Three on the tree manual. Seats and top are all in really good shape. I’ve had it serviced in the last year by a mechanic. Trying to get my garage back and ready to play with something else. Serious inquiries only.”

“1950 jeep willys Run great I invested a lot of money and time but I have to sell it I need space and my garage need electrical work on lights current registration April 2021 $15000 $obo or trade utility truck”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Auctioned through sealed bids.
Jerry Huber confirmed that this is a 1945 VEC CJ-2A, serial number #11822. Jerry added, “That would place the body at the end of the 1945 production run. The Fire Dept. documents that they got it in the spring or summer of 1946, which is still possible with the time for the Darley Fire Conversion. There is also a story that the vehicle had a frame failure shortly after they got it from Darley and it was returned to the Willys Plant in Toledo where the frame was replaced with a heavier duty and reinforced unit. I have heard that story before but can’t verify although some one with more history on the unit may be able to confirm.”
