Seth spotted this nice looking Commando. I don’t know enough about them to know if the restoration was a perfect one or not.

“Offered for sale is our 1963 Willys Jeep Surrey. This car was restored in our automotive restoration shop CASCO Automotive Restorations, a division of Classic Auto Supply Co., in Coshocton Ohio in 2004 and shortly thereafter transported to the Florida Keys where it has been since then. The odometer shows 37,600 miles. I do not believe this to be correct. The Serial Number is 5633722482.

This Willys Jeep came from Tucson, Arizona where the original owner purchased it new in 1948 and lived there until he decided to sell it to a gentleman in New Mexico over 10 years ago. After the Jeep came to New Mexico it had an older restoration done back in 2004. Soon after the Jeep was restored the owner drove it, and used it pretty regular so It’s not in show room quality anymore, but it’s still in amazing shape for its age. It has the original and very reliable 4-134 L Head Go-Devil engine that was completely rebuilt and runs excellent, also this Jeep is still running the original 6 Volt electrical system with a brand new battery that works flawlessly.

My grandpa started the Kaiser Willys dealership in Lisbon, Ohio and had collected cars along the way. My dad took over the dealership in 1988 and stopped selling new vehicles when Chrysler took over. “1957 Willys FC150. Nice original body, not a lot of rust, was stored inside for years. Missing the transmission, transfer case, radiator and undoubtedly some small parts but is basically complete and sound. Box floor is good, glass is good enough to use, etc. I bought this out of an auction in Livingston last summer and was going to try to restore it but I recently bought an FC170 that is pretty nice so I’m going to do that one. I also have 3 Willys pickups and a CJ3A. Enough Willys projects for now.
This is $3250 as it sets. It can stay in my storage for free until July 1st, then it either has to go away or you start paying storage of $25 a month, which is what they charge me.”

“An incrediblly done complete restoration! This 1952 Willys Jeep Wagon 4X4 has had every nut and bolt turned and needs absolutely nothing! Powered by a period correct 6-226 Super Hurricane mated to a 3spd manual transmission with Spicer transfer case, Dana differentials, and auxillary cooling fan, she is completely finished. Extremely high quality paint job and wood trim looks fantastic. Cosmetically, she is a real head turner. Top to bottom and underneath are all meticulously done. The wood flooring in the back is completely finished, and the only thing that isnt period correct is the aftermarket am/fm cd player iin the dash. All of the gauges are clear and appear new…….I really dont know what else you could do to make her more complete.
