This has been stretched 13.5″.
“Interesting little Jeep. At some point someone took the 1957 Jeep Willys body from the frame. They cut and extended the body by 13.5 inches right in the middle of the door frame. They sprayed the under body with a rust inhibitor and dropped the body on a late 80’s CJ-7 frame. The AMC straight 6, transmission, axles and etc are all original to the CJ-7 (as far as I know). Registered as a 57 Willys.
I take it out around town twice a month or so. Good BF Good All Terrains on it. Wanted to tinker with it but don’t have much time or expertise. Now have #2 baby on the way. Make me an offer also interested in a trade for a side by side, 4 wheeler, or bumper pull trailer.
Let me know if you have any questions. I’ll try to answer any questions to the best of my rookie knowledge.”
Looks like the body has been stretched to fit on the toyota chassis.

“For your consideration, 1942 army jeep made by Ford motor company. 4 cylinder Willy ‘s flathead with recent overhaul. New battery/ starts & runs great. New army seats & gas tank to install- has aluminum tank in rear bed now. Five nice tires, minimal rust. Previous owner applied some bondo over good metal. Master cylinder has been removed. I’ve cleaned it & it appears ready to re-install. Rebuild kit is only $20. Also, previous owner said brakes & hubs are in good shape. Transfer case (4 wheel drive) operates quietly. O.E.M. Gas Tank & Seats are worth $1,000.00. I’m NOT a mechanic, ready to bail out at a loss. First $2,500.00.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was listed on eBay
I think this same jeep was for sale back in 2012. The only difference that I see is the lack of MVPA text on the driver’s side.

This vehicle is nearly re-completed, after the V6 engine upgrade, and the dual transfer case upgrade, but does need finishing.”

Posted at bangshift (though I couldn’t find this original link), referenced by Jalopnik, linked to by Kaiser Willys, and forwarded by Colin, here is a great video of a coast guard “super jeep” in action.
NEWS ARTICLES:
1) From the May 06, 1944, Perth Mirror in Australia:
TRAVELS 60 MPH OVER SANDY BEACHES
At a Coastguard Station on the Atlantic Coast, U.S. Coast Guards men recently demonstrated a new super-jeep, carrying 10 men and traveling up to 60 miles an hour over sand. Officials said the super-jeep was developed to meet special problems of Coast Guard shore patrols. Chassis of a regulation jeep was halved and steel shafts inserted to add one yard to its wheelbace. Seats for 10 were installed and specially designed wheels employed to permit travel over any kind of beach.
2) Volume 70 of the U.S. Naval Institute Proceedings discusses the results of the Coast Guard Jeep. Unfortunately I don’t have access to the whole document. I do have this:
As a basis for comparison, the regular Army jeep tried to follow the super-jeep over the same course, but foundered in the deep sand. The super-jeep was developed in the Coast Guard transportation office to meet the special demand that branch of services has for a vehicle capable of moving through sand . . .

Sarge Mark spotted a variety of stretched MBs/GPWs on a 2009 post from Jeep-jitsu. You can see all the photos here:
http://jeep-jitsu.blogspot.com/2009/12/blasts-from-past-pre-cj-6-jeeps.html
You can view other stretched jeeps that I have found for sale or around the web here, some in odd ways.
The seller notes this is one of a kind, despite not knowing what type of toy this is. This looks like a cross between a troop MB/GPW carrier and a CJ-3B. Anyone recognize it?
