This has a variety of updates.

“This Jeep has been totally restored from the ground up. It has a Chevy Vortec V-6 motor from a 96 Trailblazer with 30,000 miles on it. The new approximate milage on the motor is 45,000 miles. The rear axle is fully locked and the front axle is controlled by the ARB air locker. It has a 10,000 pound Ramsey winch on the front. The interior floor has been Rhino lined. It has a removable face Marine CD player/Radio with Marine Speakers in it. The Jeep Also comes with a Bikini top. This vehicle isn’t a commuter vehicle it is geared to low for highway speeds. It has a top speed of about 55 MPH.

UPDATE: **SOLD** The CJ-2A was $1300. The CJ-3B was $3500. “This is a 1946 Willys jeep 4×4, farm edition with a pto on the rear with a rare hard top, 4cly with a 4 speed and a twin stick transfer case . We tried to start it but it would not fire. We figured out there was no spark coming from the coil and due to bad weather we have not messed with it since. Vehicle has many coats of paint and surface rust but not many holes, in pretty good shape for age of vehicle.”

THE CJ-3B: 
“This is a rare 1952 Willys jeep cj3b high top, it has a 6cyl hurricane engine with a 4speed with a twin stick transfer case.It has a new body, hard top and a roll cage, rebuilt motor new glass new 31” tires new suspension. Almost everything on this vehicle has been replaced with a new part. We tried to start it but it would not fire. We figured out there was no spark coming from the coil and due to bad weather we have not messed with it since.”

UPDATE: Brett noted the jeep is transporting the elephant. I originally thought the elephant was behind the jeep (after all, who transports an elephant in a jeep). Of course, sometimes they’ve been known to drive one.

Marc pointed out that this ‘Tour Jeep’ CJ-3B appears to have an extended rear. It looks like to me it  can carry extra people. The photo is circa 1962 and is probably from Africa. I wish we had a side shot of it. The photo is located in France, but shipping is free.

I have a CJ-3b that my son started restoring. It is all there except the fuel tank was bad. The wires are all in the buckets and chassis was running and driving when the body was taken off about a year ago. The tub had some rust so we got another one that is mostly rust free. This is a great one to restore I just have too many projects.”
