The writer of this testimonial must have had a very low numbered VEC.

Texaco Service Documents
Maury shared these Texaco service documents for Universal Jeeps — presumably CJ-5s, CJ-6s, DJ-5s, and DJ-6s, as it appears to ignore DJ-3As (oh the inhumanity!). You can download both documents as high resolution Tiffs and/or JPGS, printable here:

Orchard Sprayers By Field Force Manufacturing
These documents were in a late 1940s Willys Overland binder.
There seems to be a very slight difference between the two sprayer packages offered by Field Force Manufacturing. One package used a pump with stainless steel non-magnetic plungers that gave the pump higher capacity and more pressure capability. It weighed slightly more, too.

Willys Overland Documents on eBay
This collection has a few interesting items, such as early (factory?) photos of the Porter & Reed Hardtops. But, I don’t see a ton of value here. Interestingly, the rear door of the Porter & Reed top swings sideways.

1946 Antenna Installation Diagram on eBay
Here’s an oddball document for installing an antenna on early jeep station wagons.

Willys CJ-3A “Crash Wagon” Overview
1954-1955 Dealer Price Sheets
I bought these on eBay as part of another purchase. Perhaps the most interesting about them are the ambulance prices and standard equipment included (last set of docs), as there seems to be very little info about those left.
1968 Jeepster Comparison Booklet on eBay
This publication was designed to teach the sales force and dealers about the new Jeepster Commando and Jeepster Convertible. Looks interesting.
“This is a vintage 1968 Jeepster Comparison Data Brochure, measuring approximately 5.75×8.5” and is 20 pages long. It is an original piece of literature from Kaiser Jeep not a reprint and is in very good to excellent condition. Dated April 1968. Carefully stored since new, minimal handling, center staples tight, clean with no smudges, tears or folds. “7-68″ written lightly in pencil on bottom left of back cover. Contents include b&w photos, competitive vehicle comparisons, exterior and interior comparisons, general appearance, engines, frames, electrical, suspension, drive line, body, safety features, etc. Models covered include the 1968 Jeepster Convertible and Commando.”
July 1966 Las Brisas Menu Surrey on eBay
Here’s another Las Brisas Menu from 1966. I have one from August of ’66. This one is from July.
“Date: July 30, 1966.
Restaurant: Las Brisas Hotel.
Location: Acapulco, Mexico.
Size when open: 14 x 23 inches – 3 panel card stock menu.
The World’s Only Hotel With Room Service By Jeep.”
10 Page Garwood Dump Bed Instruction Booklet
I missed out on this rare Garwood DumpOMatic Hoist Bed Booklet for the FC-170. It sold for $28.97 on eBay yesterday morning. I
WSYR’s Testimonial For the Jeep
In late 1946 radio station WSYR-FM out of Syracuse, New York, sent this testimonial for the jeep touting the ability of it to overcome the sometimes muddy terrain to reach the transmitter site.
1954ish Instructions for Installing Winch
This unusual document offers several pages of instructions for installing a crankshaft pulley powered “Jeep Winch” on a CJ-3B. It’s curious that the winch is not branded as part of the document, but I am guessing is a Braden winch?
DJ-5/DJ-6 Documents
I found these docs on eBay. They are basic pricing sheets for the DJ-5 and DJ-6 (non mail-jeep looking versions). Though I don’t see specifics, I think these used the T-96 tranny.
1965 Department of Defense Jeep Sales on eBay
Here’s an unusual document.
“1965 JEEP DEFENSE SUPPLY AGENCY DEPT OF DEFENSE SALE NO 25-6006 CATALOG UNUSUAL”
Willys Overland War Time Record for 1943
The University of Toledo’s digital archives (UTOPIA) includes several pages of a wartime record report for the Willys Overland fiscal fear ending September 30, 1943. The report spans 107 pages, but the digital archive only includes five of the pages. The part that caught my eye was a table of contents line showing a discussion of the “Jeep” – Evolution of a New Military Vehicle, a chapter that lasted 16 pages. Has anyone ever reviewed the report? The full report appears to be in the Ward M. Canaday Center for Special Collections.
DJ-5 Postal Jeep Brochure
UPDATE: Status Unknown. Was on eBay
I haven’t seen many of the hardtops shown in this brochure. The passenger side door (that is, the left hand door) is particularly unusual.
“Here I have a very nice comb-spine Brochure / Book
Jeep POSTAL DISPATCHER

TOLEDO, OHIE 43601
Book measures about 8 ½ x 5 ½ inches and is 14 pages (Plus Covers) with each page leaf individually numbered.
This is in Excellent Condition with a small break of the comb spine at the top.
This is an outstanding piece for the Willys / Jeep / Postal collector!”
1965 Floatation Study on eBay
Here’s an interesting document.
“ook was placed in a stack exposing the cover to some oily-like residue that produced two 1 1/2″ inch stains upper right area. Did not want to continue listing without noting this change. Looks worse than it really is. I add another picture at the end in detail. Thanks! Wonderful and rare book. 8.5 x 11″ roughly. 58 pp. US Army Tank Automotive Center. Very good condition with owner name in pen and small stain “stripes” on upper-right cover.”
1956 Military 4 Year Proposal on eBay
This looks like a unique piece.
“Here I have an Extremely rare Willys Jeep Military proposal for a 4-Year program from 1956.
This is a Plastic Comb Binding Book which was apparently used in presentation for the proposed 4-Year Military Development Program for the ¼ Ton 4×4 Willys Vehicles.
Book is dated 10 October 1956.
Books specifies the M38-A1 and presents analyses of weight reduction and cost savings.”
Willys-Overland Citation on eBay

Carter (Carb) Service Bulletins
Dan ran across these interesting service bulletins from the Carter Carburetor Corporation regarding Willys-Overland motors.
1995 Safari-Kar Press Release
Here’s an interesting bit of history for those interested in the Safari Kar. The seller marks this as a released in 1996, but given it is introducing its 1995 line, I think it was printed earlier.
“Original typewritten press release , 8.5 x 11 , UNILLUSTRATED , describes 1975 to 1983 remanufactured US Post Office Jeeps . This was printed in 1996 by Safari Kar .”
