“1947 Willey’s Jeep. It runs just bought it as a project and just haven’t have time.”
Well, I got too busy working on the jeep to write posts about them (and am behind on emails), so updates delayed until probably Friday afternoon or who knows ….. on the good side, I have a plan for the floor, almost finished the seat setup (have to finish other stuff under the jeep first), almost finished the tail light setup, and rebuilt the driveshaft safety loop. Good day for small stuff with plenty more small items to go, such as a YJ sway bar is on the way, so I will be able to install that.
Barry Thomas let me know that this rare CJ-2 #6 has found a new home. Keith Buckley and Brandon from Jeep appear in a video discussing the jeep. Check out the video on Barry’s Farmjeep site:

I purchased this rare Davis Scenic Jeep Tours brochure from eBay. According to the CJ-3B page (which has a brief history of the company), Davis Scenic Tours was launched in 1946. It was eventually sold in 1959. At that time, the name was changed to San Juan Scenic Jeep Tours.
The brochure is 5.5″ x 8.5″ (half sheet of standard page) and folded in half. So, it’s pretty small.
The brochure’s cover photo of the CJ-3B isn’t very good, so below is a pic that shows how the modified-stretched CJ-3B actually looked, courtesy of the CJ-3B page:
This twenty-page issue of Jeep News includes a second advertising flyer, but one focus on special equipment rather than swag.
Blaine spotted this modified jeep on Walker Texas Ranger, season 4 episode 18. My guess would be that it is a 1971 or later CJ-6, but the pic isn’t too clear. Blaine mentioned that the jeep does appear in other scenes, but the only pic he could find was on IMCDB: https://www.imcdb.org/v001243512.html

This could be worth it for the right person.

I lucked into finding this original Seattle Belly Paneers Jeep Club Patch! Can’t be many of these left. It is 7″tall x 5″ wide.
This unusual ad features a jeep in part of it. What looks like a “what’s in a name” ad, is really an ad for the Ethyl Corporation.

“This is an Original old Vintage Trade Ad. This print ad Measures Approx: 14″ x 10 1/2″. This is Not a Photocopy or reproduction.”
Here’s another ad featuring a jeep, but this time it is for Barbasol Shaving Cream.
Mike spotted this estate-sale Jeepster Convertible. This looks like a great one for the price. If I weren’t buying a different jeep at the end of Feb (yep, we head out on Feb 27th), I’d consider this one as I’ve though a Jeepster Convertible would be a neat vehicle for around these parts.

This supposedly has been listed for 13 weeks, but it’s the first time I’ve seen it. This has some later model FreeLock hubs.
“Restored 1950 Jeep Willy”
David shared this CJ-5 which appears to have a Tux Package. Pics are small.

“All original hurricane four-cylinder, four-wheel-drive, four seater. I am the third owner and just had everything gone through and replaced that needed to be done. The only thing wrong with it is cracked windshield and leaks oil. Engine does not smoke. Everything works as should, drives great awesome little piece of history. ”
This has a variety of updates, though someone removed the front of the roll cage, but left the plates. It has a Warn overdrive.

Daryl has this FC project for sale.
“If you have such little ambition as to push the available button, this project isn’t for you. 1957 FC-150 with very little rust for an FC. Comes with good running motor, transmission and transfer case. Good windshield. 60/40 bench seat. Have 1959 wide track 150 frame and axles with a clean Washington title in my name”
This one runs. The ad includes a video.
