This is a relatively rare right-hand-drive DJ-3A with an even rarer automatic transmission (see 4th pic… shifter to the right of steering wheel). Unclear how much value is here, but certainly some parts value at the very least. It has an f-head.

“I had big plans for this cool little mail jeep but I have too many projects. It is a 1964 DJ3A dispatcher. They stopped making flat fender jeeps in 52 but they had so many parts left over they continue to make flat fender delivery vehicles into the mid 60s. It is very rare, I haven’t seen another one for sale. It does not run or drive, it is a project. I have a clean clear CA title in hand. A user named “38 Coupe” shared a bunch of smaller Auxiliary transmission documents that included a Parts and Instruction manual for the Warn AO. So, here it is, along with some photos of a Warn unit that was for sale in April of 2015.

“This Cheetah Willys Jeep has no rust, the original rebuilt engine, 11 inch brakes on the front with lock out 4WD hubs. The steering is Saginaw retro fit. Tight ride with all new brakes, lines and master. She runs great and is a truly fun ride.

This is the second car I built with my daughter after the 45 Ford Jeep. She also did the Cheetah paint job with me altering stripping the bondo job someone did and redoing the whole body. This car runs really well, fun to drive out in the open air, the windshield is detachable, tail gate opens. (doesn’t come with dog)”

Chopped 8 inches, has shaved doors, has frenched tail lights, grill has been flipped, front fenders filled to change look, rear wheel wells have had front fender trims welded to body. The body has been professionally welded to the frame. Bodywork professionally repaired.

The Willys sits on a 1986 Buick Regal frame. The donor drive train is a 1990+/- Camaro IROC with 63,000 miles. The motor is a 305 IROC motor with a mild cam with many custom parts added. The transmission is from the same car and is a 700R. Many new parts have been added to the engine & suspension.

Also replaced exhaust manifold (cracked) and gaskets. Included but not installed new shift boots, master cylinder, plus more new parts. Engine, transmission, and transfer case previously rebuilt and work as they should. Carb rebuilt a few months ago. Recent oil/filter change. 4 of the 5 tires are very old, but all hold air.”
