It is time to liquidate some assets so my wife of almost 50 years can take a trip back to her native Korea Possibly for the last time. So I thought it would be fitting that ” The other woman ” name of the jeep .. should be the asset to liquidate. She ( the jeep ) is located in West Michigan, and can be delivered by me..on a trailer for a fee. As we all know …there is MUCH more invested in Resto/Mod than we will ever re coupe… but the ability to work on this old girl was well worth it. She spent 2 winters in a Chrysler/Jeep dealership show room. and in covered storage to date ( started up on a monthly basis ) You will note this baby has two option not seen very often.. Dual wheels AND extended cargo area ( Both options offered for farm use in the late 1940s ) see pictures here. https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=CC846636913B7D9D&id=CC846636913B7D9D%21426

There’s an interesting article about Vic Hickey’s supercharged flat fender in the February 1955 issue of Car Craft Magazine. The cover shows a great color photo of the supercharger. Using a GMC Supercharger, the Vic made a variety of changes to deal with issues related to the installation.
Here’s a neat ad.

For an unrestored Backhoe CJ-5, this looks great.
“1969 CJ-5 Go For Digger Backhoe $9500.
1969 Go For Digger backhoe. It is in working condition although it does need some TLC. These are extremely rare, especially to find one that hasn’t had major modifications or rebuilds over the years. This is a very good candidate for restoration. Almost everything is original. Front blade has down pressure. It is a very capable machine as well as a rare piece of Jeep history. Boston Area.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
Looking for something else, I ran across this 1963 J-300 dually with an unusual tale.
“This is a special ordered truck, the only Jeep J300 truck ever configured this way. I purchased this truck with 43,000 miles on it from the original owner, a timber faller, who worked up until he died at 87 years old. The original owner approached his local Jeep dealership requesting a one ton dually Thriftside and was told Jeep didn’t build one. When he told them if Jeep didn’t build one for him he would buy a Ford instead the dealership obtained one for him that had the rear fenders widened to fit the dual tires and a wider rear bumper was fabricated. This truck has OEM power steering, a four speed tranny, 230 CI Tornado motor, 2 bbl carb and an alternator was added. An 8000 pound Ramsey PTO winch is included This truck is registered in the Texas Full size Jeep Association Dually registry check it out here http://www.txfsja.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=354 I reserve the right to end auction early as this vehicle is for sale locally.”
This is a custom FC with custom Ford axles and power train.
“1957 Jeep FC- 150. Foward Control Jeep with Ford Econoline front axle, 1957 Ford 9 inch rear end. 302 Ford V8 engine with C-4 automatic transmission. Dual rear wheels with new radials all around. Handbuilt flatbed with nice wood floor. New red/white paint. Bet you’ve never seen a truck like this before. You will have the only one at any car show.”
