“Koeing iron works metal Jeep top. Came of a 54 cj3b. No rust holes anywhere. Does have one slice type hole on one of the side pieces from me cutting the bolts off with a angle grinder. It needs restored. Door glass is plexiglass glass. The rest is original glass best I can tell but it needs new glass really. Windows roll up and down. For its age its in really good shape. This is a rare Alaskan Postal Delivery Service Scrambler.
“This is a Rare Right Hand Drive (RHD) Jeep Scrambler CJ-8.
Jeep made around 230 of these Scramblers in 1984 for the Alaskan Postal Delivery Service.
This Jeep runs and drives, however once she is warmed up she tends to want to stall out at stoplights if you don’t feather the throttle a bit. Rather than messing with the single barrel carb on there, I have a rebuilt dual barrel Motorcraft 2100 ready to be installed, but have not yet had the time.
The details are as follows:
The drive train of this Jeep is stock (carbureted 4.2 L 6 cylinder with automatic trans)
4WD works
Rare World Cab Hard Top, only sold in USA on these 230 Alaskan Jeeps. All other Scramblers were sold as Pickup Trucks in the US! South America got these world cab or Overland cab tops, but very few of those in US!
31″ tires with bed lined 15×8 wagon wheels
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay. This may have a V-7 Hardtop.
Dan spotted this unusual wooden hardtop for sale. Great piece!

“Here’s something one won’t see on eBay every day…….This is a custom-made wooden roof assembly that fits a Willys CJ2-A civilian jeep of the immediate post-WW2 era. The story I have heard most of my life is that a neighbor of ours purchased a new 1948 CJ2-A and, after a few years, wanted something more stylish than the canvass top that had come with it. He commissioned a local furniture-maker, whose name is long lost to the ages, to design and construct this wooden “station wagon”-like roof assembly.
My late father bought the jeep with both tops in 1968 and stored the wooden roof on the second floor of his garage for many years. Around 1980 he sold the jeep, but he kept the wooden top. Fast forward to approx 2000, when I bought a haggard CJ2-A from a co-worker. Since it had no roof, installed the wooden one. The pictures seen with this auction show the wooden roof still perched on my red Jeep. It is possible this roof may fit the CJ3A with flathead engine and maybe even a WW2 military jeep, but I have NO experience with either model and can only say for certain that it will fit a CJ2-A…… Continue reading
UPDATE: Still Available.
It’s a DJ that has had 4WD added.
“1958 4 x4 with winch. Bought out of a warehouse. Been sitting for awhile. I haven’t tried to get it running yet. Needs master cylinder. I’m looking for a good skid steer for trade or best offer.”

UPDATE:**SOLD** Was $450.
To me, based on the large door and cab windows, this looks like a later model Koenig Hardtop, similar to this one. However, I haven’t run across a hardtop with instead rear windows quite like this.
“Rare Arctic Hardtop for early CJ2A or similar flatties”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
The hardtop might be the most valuable part. The jeep looks like it went through a fire.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8300.
This combo appears worth a look. This has a rare Carson Car Craft hardtop.
“I don’t want to sell the” 45″ alone, just because. Both run , the 48 has a homemade plow set up. and I would add is crazy clean. Garaged and driven for 35 years, then I bought it. The “45” is a VEC, vin. 10365, good bones. And also comes with a great story ! Open to calls , but I have a limit on how much jeep talk I can do.”
Looks like it has a Beck “Econo Cab” Model 100.
“Decided to sell my 1946 Willys Jeep CJ2A due to storage issues. It runs great, has newer tires and brakes and is converted to 12 volts. Serious inquiries only please.”
http://appleton.craigslist.org/cto/5658500036.html
The dashboard suggests it is old than a ’57.
“I’m letting to of my 1957 Willys. It has the 134 f-head engine. Motor turns but has low compression on cylinder #4. No major problems; Is in fair shape and just needs a little attention. Would make a great off-road or farm vehicle. ”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay. Has a Meyer hardtop.
(09/22/2015) Blaine spotted this one.
“This 1965 Jeep CJ-6A Tuxedo Park Mark IV is extremely rare – only 140, or so, of these were built in 1965, with only about 460 CJ-6A “Tux’s” ever being built during the Tuxedo Park’s nine year run. This makes it one of the rarest production Jeeps out there.
The body and frame are extremely rusted and pretty much trashed…unless you are extremely talented and patient with metal work. However, the title, VIN, special parts, etc. make it a prime candidate if you are looking to restore a CJ-6 of this vintage using a donor vehicle. A restored Tuxedo Park can be worth over double a standard restored CJ-6. Why spend your money on a basic restore when you can do it as a Tuxedo Park?!

Was this a variant of the Kelly or Beck half cab? The top isn’t quite right (I remember running into this previously, but I can’t remember what we decided).
“Good shape runs great needs brake work but I have a new master cylinder”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8000.
Looks like it could use some paint.
“Very fun Jeep great for hunting or just 4 wheeling
350 Chevy Engine runs good
New tires
Has a town bar”
UPDATE: The price has been bouncing around a bit. This is the lowest I’ve seen.
This has the muller hardtop and a few other California-esque mods, such as the rear bumper (note it looks similar to the rear bumper in the muller ad). Despite sitting, this might be worth a look. It’s probably a well-built jeep.
