• Body, title, VIN, VIN plate, and original black California plates are from a 1960 Willys CJ3B. Clear title and current registration, both in my name. Tub is stretched behind the door openings; seats 4 adults. It sits on an early CJ6 frame. The wheel base is about 104″. Plenty of leg room & head room all around.
• Engine: Buick V6 225 odd-fire, about 8,000 miles on it since rebuild by previous owner; new battery, aluminum 2 core radiator, electric fan, heavy flywheel, known for allowing low rpms and good crawling,

“One of the coolest jeeps around for sure.
This was custom built for a man in Palm Springs California about 30 years ago. It runs great!
Small block Chevy motor with electric fan. 3 speed manual.
This is a trail built jeep. It has an overdrive/underdrive in addition to the transfer case. I believe they are commonly called doublers. You can can crawl the trails which is specifically what this was built for. This is not a highway speed vehicle.
Super fun town and trail toy!
Custom built all the way. One of the coolest roll bars I’ve seen. I love the extra wide center where the CB is mounted.
It does have a soft top and doors that come with it. Dual gas tanks. Like new tires.
There’s nothing wrong with it.
It’s just fun!
$16,500 or fair offer. We are not interested in trades.”

Standard 5 point racing harness, Front mounted 6.5 gal RJS fuel cell. rack & pinion steering. Aluminum front and rear wheels. Aluminum skid pan. Air horns. Complete tig welded roll cage. 1600cc dual port VW engine. Remote Oil cooler and filter. Rear mounted aux start switch in engine compartment. Nerf bars and front bumper. This vehicle was used as a promotional race jeep in the traveling short course series, The Michigan Off-Road Championships. Great for the street, sand or trails. No Rust. “1946 Willys, very early civilian, completely restored. Rare column shift. New items Stock: Tub, Fenders, Windshield, Seats, suspension. Rebuilt items: Motor original flat head “Go Devil.” Rebuilt Tranny, Rebuilt Transfer, Rebuilt differentials. Original rims and new tires. New additions to stock that can be easily removed. Overdrive unit, Lock out hubs, Best Top Soft top, Aftermarket Heater, turn signals and lights, LED windshield mounted light, electric wipers, vacuum booster for stock brakes. Frame was sand blasted, treated for future rust and painted. Body was treated for future rust and painted. Way too much work to mention here also have the original tub, additional tranny, motor parts, transfer case, diff parts fuel tanks and body parts.

What don’t work: small oil leak in filter line, Speedometer. The speedo had been changed so we trusted it, alas we shouldn’t have. All new cables though and gear etc.”

This appears to be a DJ-3A with the slanted opening. I wonder how much weight that wood adds. The rear fuel inlet is not longer in the back, so I wonder how you fill it with fuel (maybe it’s just sitting in the rear?).

“This 1972 Jeep CJ6 was reportedly purchased new from Sanford Motors in Tacoma, Washington and is said to have later remained in storage for 31 years with its second owner. Power comes from a 304ci V8 paired with a three-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case, and the body is finished in President Red with a white soft top over a black interior. The seller acquired the Jeep five months ago, and service in that time is said to have included a new brake light switch, an oil change, and a clutch adjustment. This CJ6 shows approximately 46k miles and is offered with a custom auxiliary fuel tank, a spare set of tires, removed parts, a service manual, and a clean Washington State title in the seller’s name.“
