“I hav a complete Willys CJ2A Jeep that is all original. Body is pretty much shot. The motor ran when it was parked two years ago. Also have a rolling chassis with a New Jersey title. This would be a great start to a build because the frame is in good condition for its age. ”
It’s missing the rear and one side glass.

Mark and his son Tom have assembled another video with Drew at the Jeep Farm, this time it involves the rebury of a CJ-5.
Marked form FS-F514105, this brochure highlights some of the tool bar implements available for jeeps, including the Rotary Lister Planter, the Conventional Moldboard Middle Buster, The Roatry Bottom Middle Buster, the Field Cultivator and the Row Fertilizer Attachment.
Barry Thomas suggests that some or all of these may be ex-newgren items that, following Newgren’s struggles, Willys-Overland began to market and sell under ‘Jeep’. I’m not as versed as some folks on the individual implements, so maybe someone can confirm this?
One thing is clear to me; Willys-Overland did not devote much marketing resources to this sales effort. These brochures are pretty simplistic compared to many other marketing documents of the time. Maybe there was a small team with a tight budget assigned to try to make something happen with this niche of farming and implements?
Unlike the other brochures in this group of seven, this was the only one-page brochure and it lacked a form number.
This unusual little lighter is engraved with Willys, Packard, and Mack. Kenneth B. Schleicher ran a dealership out of Lehighton, Pennsylvania, for fifteen years. He passed away in 1984.

(05/10/2020) Seems a good price. Radiator has been swapped.
“1947 Empire tractor, s/n 5184. This tractor runs well. Tires are in good condition. We were told by seller who owned the tractor since the 1960s that the first owner had a custom haying business & the tractor kept overheating pulling a self powered bailer so he installed a McCormick Deering radiator. Sellers family built the 3 point lift & blade to clean barn stalls. Empire tractors were made with same engines, transmission, transfer case, and differential as Jeeps.”
Has a new body.

“The original model of Warn’s iconic electric winches, the Bellview Winch is 8,000 lb rated and was produced by Warn industries until 1974, when it was replaced by the Warn Model M8274, which is still in production today. These winches were popular ad-ons to old Willys Jeeps, International Scouts, Early Broncos, and 4×4 pickups.
The winch works with manually actuated cables that fix to the dash-mounted control panel, and run through the engine bay to the winch and the knife-switch. The cables control the power-in function, the clutch, and a manual drum brake. It is VERY uncommon to find one of these winches with the original under-dash controls (complete with factory WARN blue cables) as well as the control switch.
This winch was a factory option on a barn-find 1974 Bronco, and its serial number shows that it was one of the last Belleview winches to be made at the end of 1974. It would make a great piece to add to a vintage restoration, or use as is on any vehicle, as a similar new M8274 costs around $2500.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5900.
(03/22/2020) The Kelly top appears to be for a CJ-5.

Roger Martin shared this one. It’s a project.
“This is a rolling 47 Frame and early 46 body. Frame is in very good shape. It has the axles, transmission and transfer case. Driveline’s included but not on it. It’s a floor shift that seems stuck in gear. Also have another tailgate, extra frame (needs some repair), windshield frame, Floor pan parts, 3 in the tree Trans and Transfer case (not the one shown in the back), tow hitch, tow bar, extra set of axles, and some misc parts.
Has mags and 1 original wheel, steering box or seats. I’m in Orem, Utah I might sell parts separately but would prefer to sell it all. Looks like i’ll be moving soon so I’ll entertain offers and trades.”

Chris spotted this wonderful video showing the capabilities of ‘Jeep’ Audiovisual unit. There are lots of great details, including how to use the PTO to power the generator which operates the equipment. So cool! Thanks to Indiana University for preserving this unique film!

I can’t imagine that Willys was fielding enough Land Rover questions that the sales department thought it needed to highlight the Jeep’s advantages over it?
Here’s a reasonable price for a circa 1952 4 Wheel Drive Booklet. It appears in pretty good shape. You can see a scan of this here.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500.
It’s listed as a 1947 CJ-2A, but it looks to be a 3A.This half top is a curious one. It looks like it’s been built out of galvanized metal? If so I suspect it’s a home made one, perhaps modeled after a Porter & Reed top?
“Pulled this out of a Quonset a couple months ago, it’s a cool little Willys Jeep but I already have a CJ2A and this is one project too many.
Hasn’t run for about 4 years, I asked the guy how long he’d had it he said, “I put those 1973 plates on it. ”
We have not tried to start it, the oil looks good and it has antifreeze in it, the gas line is disconnected at the fuel pump, they had a little can on it last time it ran. The engine has pretty good looking red paint so I asked him about that. He said they had it rebuild a “Long time ago.”
Has a solid looking Kelly top. Could be a good price. It was bought and has been owned locally in Leadville.
