Ed wanted to share these pictures. As you can see, he was in quite a pickle with that jeep. The last picture shows his son.
“Thought you might be able to use these. Couple of old photos from the late 60’s. The couple of me standing in front of the jeep in a creek were taken in Turnback Creek outside of Halltown Mo. on our family farm. The one of the jeep in a pond was also from the farm. The one of my son was taken at our home in Ormond Beach Fl. He is learning what a match book cover is properly used for. Yep, you guessed it, setting ignition points on his 67 CJ-5.”

How about this unusual photo.

This CJ-5 looks a little bit surreyish with its striped top.

This photo included some information: 0248 Orig 1946-49 Japan Kodachrome Slide Utsunomiya US Army Offloading Jeep Dock. Taken by a US Army CID officer who lived in Japan unti; the mid 60s.
This 1974 shot show 2 Viasa Fire Jeeps in Barcelona, Spain.

Marc spotted this odd hard top. I looked up the radio station and WXCG now broadcasts in New York State. I can’t tell where the photo was taken.

This picture appeared in the May 9, 1958, edition of the Baltimore Sun. The horse’s named was Belle Jeep. She never race, but her son, Jewel’s Reward, became the leading money-winning juvenile of all time (at the print of the article anyway).

Marc spotted these two neat photos.
“I think these pictures were maybe part of a salesman’s book or catalog. There’s not really a consistent theme. I see one Farmall tractor, some implements, a Jeep. (I believe it is marked Willys but it’s hard to tell.)
They are black and white. All have three holes punched on one side. A few have several sets of holes. Some have a sort’ve cloth backing. Others have a tab edge along the side of the picture.
I’m counting 23 pictures, but there are two more that are dupiclates. (Two of the one with a piece that looks like an arrow, and two of the farmer in the white shirt and hat.)
Size: Most are 8 x 10,” but 4 are 6 x 10.””
