I don’t have the January 1956 issue, but this February 1956 issue discusses the introduction of the DJ-3A Dispatcher.

Sierra Overdrive Brochure and Instructions
I found this cool and rare brochure for the ill-fated Sierra Dana 20 overdrive on eBay. It’s printed on 8.5″x11″ paper, so the marketing budget must have been tight (as I understand it, working capital was an early issue, which played a part in the demise of the company). A few years ago there was a post of an article that also highlighted this rare overdrive.
The following instructions and schematics were tucked inside the brochure above:
1947 Janney’s Toys’ Ad on eBay
The price of the paper ad from a Janney’s Toys catalog(?) seems crazy to me, but the ad is a neat bit of info if you own one of these two jeep toys.
1956 March/April(?) Globe-Trotter Magazine
This issue of the Globe-Trotter is undated, but I’m guessing it is the March/April 1956 issue. I’ve published some of this a few years ago. Here is the whole issue.
1977 Brochure for AM General on eBay
This brochure provides a good overview about how a division of Kaiser Industries began with in civilian government business with the successful post office bid (FJ-3s) in 1960. By 1971, the unit had produced a wide range of government vehicles. That year, American Motors incorporated the business unit into the wholly owned subsidiary AM General Corporation.

1956 CJ-5/CJ-6/CJ-3B Export Brochure Form W-250-6X
This 1956 CJ-5/CJ-6/CJ-3B brochure targeted the export market. It’s form number is Form W-250-6X, however it looks nothing like it’s Form W-250-6 CJ-5 brochure counter part. It’s larger and folds out to 17″ x 22″ (vs 17″ x 11″ for the domestic version). Why re-use the form number, but make the brochure wholly different from the domestic brochure? I haven’t a clue.
1956 Truck Export Brochure Form W-252-6X
This 1956 Truck brochure targeted the export market. It’s Form W-252-6X, however it looks nothing like it’s Form W-252-6 truck brochure counterparts. It’s larger and folds out to 17″ x 22″. Why re-use the form number, but make the brochure wholly different from the domestic brochure(s)? I haven’t a clue.
1956 Domestic Wagon Brochure Form W-253-6
This 1956 Wagon brochure Form W-253-6 likely has an export version labeled Form W-253-6X, yet I have had no luck locating it. I expect the export version design will be similar to Form W-250-6X (CJ-5/CJ-6/CJ-3B) and Form W-252-6X (Truck). This brochure opens up to 17″x11″.
Hotchkiss CJ-3B Brochure **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
This Hotchkiss CJ-3B brochure appears to have been made in coordination with the Willys-Overland Export company, as some of the imagery and design is similar. Given the CJ-3B was considered the “New Jeep”, I’d say this brochure must have been published in 1953.
Below is the French version of the brochure, which is on eBay. The one below that is one from my collection.
Now, compare the one above to the one below. As you can see, there are similarities and differences:

This 8-page brochure is located in France. The Buy-it-now price is $49.12, plus almost $20 for shipping.
1946 Ad For Al-Toy on eBay
This April 1946 ad from the Playthings Magazine(?) looks like an Al-Toy, though it doesn’t mention Al-Toy or West-Craft. Instead, Joseph Shaw Manufacturers seems to be taking credit for their production.

1950 Newspaper Truck Ad on eBay
UPDATE: That’s to Mark we’ve learned that at least one of these ads ran in the October 1950 issue of Capper’s Farmer magazine.
I don’t remember running across this ad. Note the lack of ‘Jeep’ promotion, part of Willys shift to the promote the Willys branding across the models.

Thanks again to those who’ve made donations making it possible to purchase unique items like this so that we I can obtain and publish them for all our benefit. This particular item was poorly marketed on eBay. Only one page was shown and no description of the number of pages was included. I took a chance and it turned out to be a great piece for only $13!!

Sept/Oct 1955 Willys News
Here’s another of my favorite issues of Willys News, as it includes a photo of our good friend Hugo Vidal as he and his two traveling companions (only Charles and Hugo are shown in the pic waving good bye) were about to depart Philadelphia in their trusty CJ-3B for their drive to Alaska.
Also in this issue is an image showing some of the brochures available to dealers. There are two new brochures added since the January 1955 Willys News showed these brochures: 1) The Willys Utility Wagon Brochure and 2) the introductory 1956 DJ-3A Brochure (not available to dealers until 1956).
1980 Malotte Manufacturing Brochure
This rare 1980 Malotte Manufacturing brochure for fiberglass bodies was an interesting one to run across, as it includes a couple eastern dealers (see bottom image). This might explain where some of the older fiberglass bodies in the PA/OH area originated.
These four pages were inserts into the brochure:
